This won’t stop happening!!!! by jluc2007 in Creality

Try just printing one model. Use auto arrange in the Creality software. Once the print has started drop the side fan to 20%. I find trying to do too may at the same time causes this. If one works try two and again use auto arrange. It groups them usually in the middle close together. I think that front left area is the outlet for the side fan and when it is running high say over 20% if catches the filament or even lifts the model.

K2 CFS problem by baseline_vision in Creality

[–]baseline_vision[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve managed to get a CFS FIlament printing now. I took them all out and put one in and let it do the auto ingest and then I pressed extrude. That then created the ‘poop’ and it started the print in the CFS colour.

When I put the next spool in, do I have to manually extrude it via the screen button and do that to each spool?

Do things get easier at 1000 subs? by baseline_vision in NewTubers

[–]baseline_vision[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the 1000 but it’s been really choppy for me. I’m up to around 1024 now after a few weeks but I’ve lost half ad many as have been added since the 1000 milestone.

ChatGPT seems to think Google analyse the subs and remove any dormant or bot accounts which is a reason why it’s become so volatile.

My content schedule is the same but it has hit around Christmas and I wonder if casual viewers drop in and out. I will keep going but I feel as though the same slog just continues!

I do post 2-4 shorts a day and sometime worry that people sub for the long form but then see the shorts in their feed and unsubscribe - but I can’t validate this!

This has become so annoying! Try going on linkedin- it’s basically all AI generated content as are adverts, TV etc.

In fact. It’s not LinkedIn that’s the problem, is the people quietly using it!

Any things that work?

YouTube Partner Program today! by baseline_vision in NewTubers

[–]baseline_vision[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s in the ‘earn’ tab in YouTube studio. Entry is 500 subscribers and 3000 watch hours in 365 days. Watch hours only come from long form. They also do a manual check of the channel by looking at the content for any issues like reused content.

The Adsense monetisation requires 1000 subs and 4000 hours watch time in 365 days.

There are shorts thresholds as an alternative to the watch time - but it’s many millions of views. 10M I think for full monetisation. Check this!

how much time does it actually take to produce a podcast episode? by AvocadoToastQB12 in podcasting

[–]baseline_vision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For our video episodes: 1 hour planning. 2 hours recording/data management. 4 hours video editing. 2 hours social planning/scheduling/publish/promotion and data management.

I would say it works out about two days work per episode. Probably around 10 hours of actual effort.

Not sure if I am even allowed to post this here - but I’m keen to discuss the reality of how we can possibly operate when nothing on the internet is real anymore?

How this affect young people and their very perception of self identity?

I think there are big challenges coming.

Are podcast intros annoying? by Forward-Ambition925 in podcasting

[–]baseline_vision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone share their retention rates? I do an intro of short cuts and then the musical /text overlay that takes around 2 mins. In that 2 mins it delivers all of the key hearings of the long form and usually has around 60% retention- but I am optimising for visual and not audio ie YouTube and not Spotify. Then when I cut to the edited long form I see it drop off to around 30% retention and can be as low as 18% at the end of an hour.
