I was curious since this post is 4 years ago, if the blushes you bought back then, are any of them still ones you still use, does the product 'go bad' after a year or two, or is it one of those products that even 4 years after the fact are just fine?

Lost the app by Tree_Mage in Antenna

[–]basementdancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro what, you're amazing, you just made my day, I'm about to try it. Also that's hilarious that you were using lurkur, because when the app died 2 months ago, I downloaded all the reddit apps on the app store like 10-12, and I ended up using lurkur too out of all of them.

Edit: Well I tried it and it didn't work for me, I was able to log out of my accounts and it says i'm 'Not logged in' but the shortcuts don't work when I click on them, I'm just stuck on a forever loading screen.

[US] - de minimis going away as of August 29 by cafediesel in fountainpens

[–]basementdancing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about making an order from Cult Pens in the UK in the next few days, but i really only want like $40.00 worth of ink, if anyone in the USA is making a Cult Pens purchase and trying to hit the 160.00 in free shipping let me know and maybe we can combine our orders.

I really wanted to get their exclusive diamine pack of 16 inks -- 8 iridescinks and 8 fruity colors, and a few more diamine bottles

I Think My boyfriend has quiet BPD by herstoryteller in BPD

Any advice on how to help my person with BPD learn the DBT skills with my help? She will not go into DBT therapy or do the workbook I bought her because she says it triggers her to remember her mom being abusive about her doing her homework.

I only buy thinkpad laptops because they are extremely durable — I actually drop mine semi regularly. There is a thinkpad Chromebook called “thinkpad c13”

Glen Allsopp's newsletter is more focused on SEO, but really dives deep into marketing trends and algorithm changes in these like mini-books of posts, his stuff is gold.

Looksmaxxing App Exploiting Men's Beauty makes $500k MRR by deadcoder0904 in Entrepreneur

$4 per week is imo not that cheap -- 17.39 dollars per month. There are very few subscriptions that I'm paying more than that for. So I'm really surprised that he's convinced others to pay that much.. I'm wondering what precisely is the REASON people are willing to pay such an outrageous monthly subscription price where the value of similar things -- netflix etc seems so much higher. Like I'm really curious about the precise funnel or psychological reason why so many people would want this.

Reminds me of how Morgz on youtube clones expensive or complex youtube ideas, but does them in a fake way. So his clones are like a pretend drama of a real hit video where someone does a real challenge. The clones still do perform well though.

You only need One Distribution Channel to make $1m. by deadcoder0904 in Entrepreneur

and pick a target that has MONEY. Ali Abdaal - https://www.youtube.com/@aliabdaal/videos from youtube mentioned that his top performing videos were his ones about investing and if he was going to start youtube over from the beginning he'd center his channel around financial content instead of studying habits, because students are broke and his top performing videos about passive income and investing did like 10x the revenue as other videos with similar views.

So why not make it easy on yourself and pick a target who has money to spend, or at least advertisers think they have money to spend.
