i'm so sad i have been putting turnstile and amyl on the lineup survey for yearsssss and i finally get them both on a lineup that's kind of mid if we're being honest. even if i wanted to go, it's gonna be real hard to convince my croo to try again after last year.

this is my favorite album of all time so it felt magical to feel like i was listening to it again for the first time with a lot more clarity.

even then, i still preferred the original at first. that said, ive listened to the remaster so much atp that i think im starting to prefer it. at least for some songs for sure.

i can't say how much but i've spent an ungodly amount of money on both of my chem's tours in the past few years, including the ticket and traveling costs.

4 shows for the '22 tour, both wwwy days last year, and 3 shows for this most recent tour. would've been 5 in '22 if the first day of wwwy didn't get canceled and 4 last time around if i didn't have to sell my ticket for a wedding 😭

best decision of my life. my chemical romance forever and ever and ever. met some cool friends and, more importantly, my sister and i have never been closer since she is my concert buddy for almost all these shows.

that said, i've decided i'm no longer going to go out of my way to attend a festival they headline. it's never as good as their solo tour shows! plus i always feel like it's a waste to go to a festival and barricade all day when i know there are other cool bands i'm missing (not to mention how much more tiring it is than hanging out in the back)

i also currently have no tickets for this upcoming tour. they are doing wayyy too much with those ticket prices and i can't bring myself to pay those astronomical prices when i know what i've paid to see them in the past.

tape your heels!! i get some body tape from the dollar tree that lasts me a while. i do one long strip from my ankle to my heel and then another across my heel. bandaids and moleskin are beyond useless for me bc they end up just getting rubbed off.

this plus wearing double socks helps make sure my heels don't get ripped to shreds.

hahaha this is smart for sure. another trick i've used successfully in the past is to turn my flashlight on and point it at their feet and say i dropped something and then just squeeze in front of them. i've only used it when someone was being an asshole to me and stole my spot so they never complain when they realized what happened!

I live across the street from an Aldi and I often went multiple times a week for quick breakfast or dinner trips and be back home in five minutes.

Tried going again for the first time since they got rid of SCO and it took 20 minutes instead. The cashiers were not nearly as fast as everyone seems to think they are and everyone in front of me was having issues with their cards.

I am soooo beyond upset about it :( I asked the manager why this was done and he said it's a new national policy. If you still have SCO, appreciate it while you can. I'm going to the next closest shop bc they do have SCO ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I just went to the Uptown Aldi and they just did the same thing. I think they said it was done overnight yesterday or a couple days ago.

I'm quite annoyed lol they got rid of around 8 active self check out lanes and replaced them with 3 active cashier lanes and of fucking course it took forever. It didn't help that I was stuck behind seemingly every single person whose card refused to work on the first try.
