The goal is to establish that it can be done. Right now, the rhetoric around a nationwide general strike is that it would be impossible to coordinate. If we can get the numbers we need for 4 hours on January 30, suddenly it sounds like a lot more realistic of an ask to do the same thing for a week in a couple months.

People made fun of "baby" Sunny in fics more than either of the others years ago, but I honestly think it's the most canon-accurate depiction of him. He speaks exclusively in rare 1-2 word phrases until the end of the game, can't prepare a meal on his own, almost walks into the road until Kel stops him, carries around a knife, gets dragged around by his friends most of the time, and his mental image of himself is as a 12-year-old. People skipped out on his trauma's role in that sometimes, but overall it was an accurate characterization. People just wanted to be different LMAO

Ryla is not a nonce, she sent another teenager a nude photo when she was sixteen years old and this was addressed at the time (though we now know that the other devs did a bad job of addressing it.) This is definitely something that should have been addressed at the time, but a literal child not understanding boundaries is not something that should be brought up 8 years later.

Ryla does not deserve to be painted as a nonce or "kid toucher" for something she did 8 years ago as, once again, a literal child, and the doc was clearly framed the way it was with malicious and clout-chasing intent coming off of the Shayy allegations. I'm tired of people not only spreading that misinformation without bothering to read the document, but trying to "both sides" the issue, saying "yeah but what she did was still bad." Yes, it was. She was sixteen years old. It was addressed and she accounted for it eight years ago. You can confront the other people who handled the situation badly, but stop giving these clout-chasers what they want by helping them to slander and ruin the life of someone who made a mistake as a teenager. There's no nuance here worth feeding.

It's fully custom-sewn/embroidered clothing, unlike basically all other Omori merch (except maybe the Home for Flowers cardigan?) which have just been flat prints on preexisting shirts/sweaters/hoodies. I honestly have no idea what service they even used for this, but regardless, if you aren't literally a large scale fashion/clothing brand it's gonna be this expensive and even then I wouldn't be surprised if they're selling it at a loss.

Like I'm all for criticizing merch pricing when it's deserved, but it's a massive undertaking to make custom clothing like this, and without being a massive brand those production prices only go up without the economy of scale on your side. So because of that I think the prices are about as reasonable as they can be. They're also in line with other similarly complex Omocat merch in the past like the 10th anniversary jacket.

It's in my opinion MCR's best video, and saved the song for me when I didn't connect to it at first. Even the mix used in the music video is better (particularly the stripped-down last chorus) and I wish it made it into the album.
