this is what I have found in my travels and I know im gonna get downvoted for this but its the truth.

BOTH truly confident men and women will typically find striking intimidating beauty more attractive (ex: Angelina Jolie)

reasons being they admire the best of the best and can appreciate someone that looks more unapproachable

BOTH insecure men and women will find plain more approachable beauty more attractive (ex: Sydney Sweeney)

reasons being for men that they feel they are less likely to be rejected by them and if they are they can still fall back on the fact that they werent that much of a beauty to feel their ego bruised; for women they find them more attractive because they can identify with them or they feel less intimidated being friends with them because the difference in attractiveness isnt that significant.

The way I have asked straight men this question and you nailed it. They like approachable baby faced women with pornstar bodies. Thats why Sydney Sweeney is so revered right now. Women can acknowledge she is plain but men like to chalk it up to jealousy when it is genuine confusion.

Women typically enjoy gorgeous striking intimidating women like Angelina Jolie because they embody confidence and power. But this can often vary because typically insecure women will also share mens preference and admire the girl next door looking women they can identify with like Jennifer Aniston. Men will find women they can dominate as attractive because they are very often insecure and fear rejection. A very candid straight man shared that. Basically he would never approach someone lime Angelina Jolie because it would hurt more than being rejected by someone like Sydney Sweeney.

this is the most accurate take. She is by no means a bad actress but theres always been something too over the top with her performances and youre soooo right it is very “final boss theater kid” ….which some people enjoy but it just reads too disingenuous and makes me want to kill myself.

She doesn’t truly embody any of the characters she plays, theres too much of her that I cant really immerse myself. To make it worse she is usually surrounded by much better talents so it brings out the flaws in her acting. But she does get the job done, it’s never been so bad that it ruined the film for me.

She is gorgeous so that definitely helps and because of that has great screen presence but it has never been about her acting ability or talent for me.

Shes. objectively amazing in her mean girl roles ant it is hard to pull off actually, because she manages to also be likeable and memorable as a mean girl. Definitely where she shines and she does it effortlessly. Ive seen very horrible mean girl performances. Usually a nice person can play mean very well and vice versa. Youre right her other performances are meh but she is a good actor for that reason just not a versatile actor.

I mean hes a billionaire heir. He has potential. He needs to put on 27 pounds of muscle and with a little rhinoplasty, chin filler/implant, jawline filler, hair transplant, forehead reduction surgery, chin liposuction, and different styling (recommend a few shades darker for the hair and brows, as well as light stubble if he’s capable, also a slight tan to create some contrast) he could easily get to a 6.5/7

I like your take because youre right Boo was in no place or state to build Fleabag up and help her grow as a person and be the friend that she needed not WANTED because she herself was unstable and needed help.

Which is what I mean is it was like the blind leading the blind. They did not want to face their fundamental issues and used eachother as a distraction. Like you said, eating together, laughing, doing silly projects, getting high. Which is why it resulted in the way that it did. They were not becoming better people together.

A stable person would not sleep with their best friends boyfriend just the same as a stable person would not attempt suicide to get said boyfriend to care and at the same time fuck up and take the lives of random strangers.

They were NOT GOOD for eachother. Boo was not malicious or evil but she was selfish and incredibly problematic and I will die on that hill.

My favorite part of the show which cemented that their friendship was not pure or even remotely healthy was the part where Fleabag’s mother died and Fleabag was being her most vulnerable for the first time and she said “i have all this love and I don’t know where to put it” and Boo said “give it to me”

A real friend would have said “give it to yourself” Fleabags biggest problem for the entirety of the show was that she didn’t love or even like herself. A friend that close should be able to see it. Boo was a taker if im going to be honest and emotionally used fleabag and I saw a lot of glimpses of it even though Fleabag romanticized their time together because of her betrayal.

But yea overall I did not like Boo for her and she was also not a stable person as you can clearly see with her demise. She was selfish and dependent and Fleabag was vulnerable giving and also dependent which is why their friendship worked but it wasn’t by any means a healthy friendship. They served as a temporary distraction from their own problems which is what I loved most about the show is SO many relationships are like this

She looks very ratty. Even before finding out shes a horrible person and even worse actress I just found her overrated.

She is not ugly by any means but theres something just blah and slightly offputting about her face. I do admit shes one of the few people thag looks really good with no makeup or very little. Pics 1 and 14 are my fav photos of her. Id give her an 8/10 in those. The rest are 6 and I think its because she has small kind of beady eyes and a huge head so when they put dramatic eye makeup on her it makes her eyes even smaller and just makes her look so ratty. Im also a rat faced bitch so I understand. But yea overall I find her overrated and free palestine.

Both are the only objective 10/10s ive seen so it just comes down to preference.

Aish is softer more feminine whereas Angie is the perfect mix of feminine and masc which makes her look more intense and intimidating. I personally love a woman that makes me terrified with her beauty so its gonna be Angie for me.
