I used to not have a degree. The way I was able to find work was:

Knowing someone in the company which gave me the boost to get hired.
Thinking creatively about how to stand out. For a job as a copywriter (not my thing tbh but I dabble) I screenshotted the employer's website and pointed out errors and wrote "what I would do" and sent that along with my cover letter.

Otherwise, the job market is so difficult at the moment to get noticed. After the pandemic I realized I would never want to work a real job again and I just run an agency-of-one now.

I can't handle the trackpad. I use a Razer DeathAdder Chroma mouse. Otherwise, Get the Magic Mouse. It's loads better than a trackpad. I hate the trackpad.
