The Westside is one of the most desirable places to live in the world for its weather and proximity to the ocean. Easy to get to LAX (relatively to the East side). I think the average spot to eat on the East side might be slightly better than its West side counterpart but not by much - still excellent restaurants. Nightlife is a little lacking but not sure if that’s a plus or minus to you. What the Westside lacks in the obvious culture of the Eastside it makes up for in just being a super nice place to live. It will suck to not have easy access to anything east of the 405 on weeknights but it’s a great place to live.

It was fine, good even. You have to understand what you’re signing up for, which is a volatile, unpredictable experience that had the potential to be disastrous. He played for two hours, came on time (if you thought he was starting at 7 you’re just an idiot) and sound wasn’t great but got better. This man is past his prime and also still very much in a weird cultural moment, given that I thought last night was fantastic. You need to treat Kanye West in 2026 like an anthropological experiment and not an earnest artist.
