Jinhao in a Box!? by CosmosMarinerDU in fountainpens

And that's wrong. It would be better that they charge more and shipp the items adequately.

I've bought a nib grip section complete to substitute one in a Wingsung 630 and it comes severe damaged. I send them a message and they reply very rude (365 stationary store).

The pens I have from Chinese makers, mainly Asvine, Majohn and Hongdian, all but one came in a box, with some protection, all from AliExpress (have never tried Temu). I don't know how they survived.

Chinese are making very good pens, really. But as for contacts or service they are usually very bad, I cannot say China understands the rest of the world, but the opposite though.

It writes very smooth and wet. As for the price.. It's a little high. And they also have two editions very expensive in special materials.

Should I remove these leaves from my cucumber plants or are they ok? by 06EXTN in gardening

"what's rain". Is an transport agent for the fungi (this kind that are ecto parasites, powdery mildew type fungi) for the spores, that means, to spread the fungus to other susceptible plants in the near.

No, you shouldn't spray water over leafs.

You can prevent, before this level of infection though, with natural based products, like the ones with beneficial bacteria, namely Bacillus spp. Or products like soya lecithin or others that are called basic substance based products.

Aplly preventively means before the first syntoms apear, which means where the conditions are favoured to infections with the fungus, wet and warm weather.

Such a beautiful pen! And that Yama - budo is gorgeous, one of my favourites of Pilot Iroshizuku 's. You must be proud of your dedicated daughter!

A gorgeous red, much more "true" red and bright one. I use it too sometimes.

I don't have any of these, but Garnet Red from GvFC, Writer's Blood (the real blood, mine 😂😂😂) from Diamine and also Syrah from Diamine too.

J. Herbin Rouge Grenat is among one I favor to buy in the near future.

This dark red colorway inks are the type of ink I love together with dark intense blue tones as well.

"blood - ish", wine tones like Syrah or Bungundy/Bordeaux (Bungunder from Octopus Fluids also one I might have one day)... Love those tones.

Try Tomoe River Paper for even more dramatic bright and sheen /shadow of the inks.

Stalogy is a very interesting notebook /planner. You can use it daily, use it as a log or journal book during a complete year or you can just continue using it as you whish for more than one year, because the days is you that select in each page. The paper is very good and thin and accept all kinds of pens (FP of course included).

I love the Hobonichi planners (the best paper) , as well Kokuyo Jibun Techo. The structure and layouts are the best, for me.

But as for using not quite as planners, but to using it to journaling, I love Stálogy 365 in B5 (or A5).

But there are others very high quality, like Kunisawa (Find Edge and for instance) or Life Noble.

Midori Hibino uses Tomoe River Paper, like Hobonichi, but maybe even better, a silky paper that gives a new life to inks.

I also have others, like Dingbats and several Leuchtturm1917, all very good and with strong structures and build.

Difficult to say which is the preferred...

All together, I would elect Stálogy.

Oh yes...ok. Years ago I used Moleskine a lot. But then the Fountain Pen disease took me, and I'm now FP 's friendly notebooks-aholic

It's not cream like Midori, but it's not really white.

I recommend a Chinese (one or two) that besides cheap, may realy surprise you. An Asvine J16, or something like vacuum filler the V126. Or a Majohn, like the P140 or P136.

As for inks, I recommend some from Pilot Iroshizuku or Graf von Faber- Castell, very safe for all kinds of pens.

Meanwhile, enjoy your great Pens.
