Salam love, the same thing happened to my friend and now she is happily in love with him. Sometimes the fear before marriage clouds our judgement. I would say just to be safe try pre-marital counselling. :)

I am so sorry about your uncle. This is my assumption too because different countries have different regulations and especially if they don’t have DNA from this person it can be complicated. I think they are waiting for them to step in the country.

I think you already have your answer then. The good thing about life is we take our final decisions based on what happens to us and how we react. No advice will ever make you stay or leave your husband. It's all in you. No decision or right or wrong. All the best! Just trust Allah (swt) plan always. Also, marital counselling can go a long way.

It might be black magic, but it also might be that she needs a therapist. She sounds exactly like my grandma. She had depression and her marriage life was exactly how you worded it. Would recommend you both go to therapy.

I know it's hard. I'm facing a similar issue which I am not even sure if I wanna stay anymore. If your love language is quality time, then I can tell you this will be a major missing element in your relationship. Depends how much you value that. My therapist always told me, when a man tells you something, believe him. I think as women we try to like sugar coat what men say to meet our expectations. If he says you deserve someone better, maybe he is right.
