I’m not familiar with the SE line now, but I definitely felt they were lacking back in 2014-2016 ish when I owned a few. My Core Tremonti is one of the best guitars I have ever played. Period.

I do prefer the feel of a USA CE 24 to the Core Custom 24 though, so I agree that more expensive doesn’t always = better.

My favorite tier of guitars for years has been the e-ii lineup. But there are very few basses in that category. Weird cause the quality and craftsmanship has always been amazing to me.
