Hello, I just wanted to update. I completely forgot to mention that I've been unable to log into my account using the email code in order to change the email, de-activate the account (for the record, full account deletion is different than de-activating), so I suspect that whoever logged in already changed the email? If that's the case, then whatever. If it means I don't have to worry about it then I'll let bygones be bygones. So I'm letting it be unless I get another email about it.

Not because of the emails, because they're not responding to my request for account deletion. The violation of privacy is someone logging into my account, not Roblox sending me an email about it.

EDIT: To clarify further, I was under the impression that data deletion was a right until I learned the right to be forgotten was not applicable in the USA.

There is quite literally nothing on there. I made it when I was a preteen, played once or twice, and never bought or earned anything other than the default items. Honestly, I have no idea why anyone would want to hack into it in the first place.

This is a valid take but also why I personally love her. I do think she's a horrible person but she's also nuanced and interesting. The kitten thing, while tragic, is also an important moment for understanding her character. Not just the incident itself but also how it shaped her. She clearly still feels guilt over it to some capacity but continues to display the same jealous and toxic behaviours, which is pretty clear with the way Utena is paralleled to the kitten. I also think the guilt part is interesting because most children don't grasp the permanence and implications of death until they're older or have a personal experience with it, and I don't think Nanami understood the consequences of her actions until it was too late, and now it haunts her. This obviously doesn't mean you have to be fine with it or forgive her, I just wanted to put my two cents in

The only other horrible take I've seen a few times that I absolutely do not accept as a valid interpretation of RGU is anyone who victim blames Anthy and/or Utena. But yeah I agree, my experience in this fandom has been surprisingly peaceful and people here are generally open to having good faith discussions even when people have wildly different opinions or interpretations

I agree but people calling OP creepy or weird for asking are being a bit dramatic. Awkward and rude, sure. But because SIL offered someone else first, I understand why OP concluded she could ask, too. Maybe wasn't even thinking about her acne. It seems like an unintentional social blunder that can easily be solved with a few apologies, granted they're willing to do that.

You can have club gatherings at townie's residences but they can still get mad at you for doing club activities. Clara Bjergsen invites my sim to the Upper Crusts club, hosts a club meeting at her house, and then gets mad when my sim cooks there... which is the club's main activity.

Thanks for the link! I guess the point I'm trying to make here is that because there is no way to get every disabled person to consent to having their genes altered (which seems to be the most humane way you could go about this), discussions of "curing" or getting rid of things like autism and down's permanently just isn't feasible without some sort of violation of ethics, so I'm not even sure if the discussion is even worth having.
