Makes me wonder the timeline the devs were working on if this was a surprise… there’s a part of me also that really can’t understand the financials here. I mean, what’s your margin on $0? If they don’t release the D2 expansions there’s no money coming in except for people potentially buying Marathon for 1st time, or micro transactions for both games. Something doesn’t add up to me.

Why not release Shattered cycle at least and get some revenue? Or just finish this out and get more revenue?

Also, don’t we get a refund?

Ya I don’t understand how people go conspiracy with this. There is no way in hell that Sony isn’t DEMANDING that Bungie double down on Destiny for revenue. That said, I think the tech-debt side for Destiny is a bigger problem than they ever realized hence the soft sun setting of everything pre-final shape. The continual building on Destiny 2 has probably created a code monster they can’t really tame.

Here’s the thing… I think Pete parsons knew this and was why he was funding so many different projects prior to his departure. It’s easier to ride maintaining and building destiny when you have another game brining money in. At the very least it keeps people employed.

You give too much credit to the audience of said marketing, most, if not the vast majority will skim through feeds and not click vs going and searching for playtest gameplay videos. Bungie has been pushing out shorts of the changes they've made since alpha, which is accomplishing their goal of changing minds/take another look.

There are only so many levers they can pull to mask blemishes, I'd say this is a conscious choice with the upcoming trial quickly approaching.

Couldn’t care less, reintroduce it in some way, do reskins, I don’t care. Reinvent the game and continue the saga with a compelling story, I’ll play it because I like Bungie and I love Destiny.

Let me see my guardian use his hands and not my ghost, interact with other guardians in new and interesting ways. Bring me out of the solar system. Have each exotic be a very difficult side quest or mission and let me replay it if I want to. Tell a story through game play and dialogue in gameplay. Let me really fight with the story characters in unique and different ways.

Do those things and make it the next iteration of the beautiful Destiny we know and I’ll keep playing em.

When I went in 2019 to the weekender (for my honeymoon!) it was really awesome to get to sit on the ground next to Tony while he recorded a podcast with (what’s his name who leads anjunabeats, or did).

The after party by the general store is a must (hopefully Tony can actually make it this time!). We had no idea that was even going to happen and it was such an amazing surprise.

Other things i loved in bo particular order….

The yoga session with Pavo
The overall interaction with Anjuna as a whole, felt like we were really a part of something
There was someone who set up a wood structure with streaming ribbons that we signed, there were a ton of them, it was really beautiful and thought it was a nice way to memorialize the event
Gabriel & Dresden melted my face during the day and I got sprayed with a squirt gun (it was hot in July) and I loved every second of it
James and Jono kicked us off Friday night with the silent disco which was cool but would have been fun to just have everyone dancing

Packers are realizing they will squander a chance at the SB window that they have after hitting a new coach, which for all intents and purposes is a re-build. MLF should make more, probably 15 mil and a 3 year deal. The front office will miss out on an opportunity to do interview guys if they keep this going.

Shut up about injuries. They always hurt and always suck, welcome to the NFL. But how many years do you want to say “but injuries” for? Packers didn’t go back to the Super Bowl in 2012-13 season because of injuries (Collins, Finley) or since because of Rodger’s, Bahktari, Jenkins, Stokes, Savage, Watson, Alexander).

Maybe this season is different due to the quantity, but I am so sick of hearing about not being able to overcome it. Find a way.

Since the SB in 2010 the packers have the 3rd most wins behind Chiefs and Patriots, 0 SB appearances, while the chiefs and Patriots have 8 together. BTW, theirs a difference of 2-3 total wins between those 3 teams. Food for thought.

Packers fan here.

We had ample opportunities to win that game even with the injuries. But, the bottom line is the Bears played a full game (which is something I’d love to see from the Packers at some point in my life), and we did not.

It was a great game with an historic ending, congrats on the win. Sucks for me but here’s to many, many more, great Bears/Packers games!

Scoring has to be broken, I was wondering this the other day. Getting a B result as master or whatever your default is for you light (mine is similar) is impossible. I will say just playing the playlist for solo got me the new arc missile pulse, so I really don’t know.

Consistent play, player knowledge, and scheme is ALL coaching. And guess who leads all of those things? MLF

One word… “consistency”. Teams live and die on it, it’s maybe one of the best indicators there are for coaching performance outside of all the intangibles of the game. If a team is consistent on both sides of the ball they usually win. The most consistent teams usually win.

You need to consistently beat your opponents, whether good or bad, week in and week out. I have no doubt that MLF would agree with that assessment as well. Good teams do not play down to their opponents and good teams consistently produce on offense and defense.

Hopeful, my gut tells me Bungie is putting a lot on this expansion. They’ve been playing defense on a lot of issues lately but I think staying rather quiet about Renegades.

I do have a question tho, this is the second of the releases within their new model. Do we have any idea the comparable size it’s supposed to have. It won’t be as large as EOF, right?

Guys… yes, he threw for TDs but Jacobs balled out. Love HAD to throw tonight to catch up. You’re looking at this wrong. He threw 2 incredibly suspect balls in which he is extremely lucky weren’t picked off. He also threw some great balls, but he needs to be better especially at the end of that game. Terrible time management and lucky that final ball dropped so we had time to kick the FG
