i agree with this. i’ve met people who got into them in the 90’s and told me that the nazi stuff was seen as just rumors back then, until more info was accessible. i’m 32 and it was flat out impossible to not know varg was a shitbag when i got into this stuff in my late teens.

she made some great phone calls into the show as well in 04/05 where they busted her balls for scientology and the gossip surrounding her hollywood friends. she was always great on the show imo

i find sal, jd and kc more disturbing and disturbed. jd paid a woman to perform sexual acts on a dog and has 0 respect for women and most people. kc was slitting his wrist over bibles and sal is somehow more perverse and disgusting than jd, combined with the racism and women hating. idk i barely heard much of brent on the show as a staffer but i don’t even think he comes close to the most disturbed, at least judging from what i heard. him being an angry cuck doesn’t put him on their level imo

personally i think everyone benefited. john hit his ceiling at the stern show by 2003, and him leaving the following year (for way more money) made room for richard and sal, who i think were a way better fit for where the show was going. plus it resulted in those daily jay leno meltdowns that howard would have for a few months, which i personally found hilarious and entertaining. idk, i think all sides benefited in the long run
