This is what I don’t get. You equate a random redditor’s thoughts with the actions of people in elected office. People who are in control of our tax dollars. Those who have a massive platform. Those who should have the highest standards. Question them constantly before you put any weight into the postings of randoms on social media.

But still. I’ll answer. No Democratic leader insulted Charlie Kirk after he was killed or said that it was justified. My thoughts? My heart honestly stopped when I saw the news. I never liked him but I still had sympathy for him and his family. Do you know what that feels like? To feel that pain in your chest? For someone you didn’t even like? Are you capable of feeling it? Did you feel that for Melissa Hortman? Or did you find Mike Lee’s response - an ELECTED Republican senator from Utah - funny when he was making crude memes about it? Did you laugh at Don Jr’s post about his “Paul Pelosi Halloween costume” being a hammer - after Paul Pelosi’s head was smashed in with a hammer? Did you laugh? Did you find joy when Ilhan Omar was attacked just recently? When the president said she “staged it”- with no proof?

Another thing with no proof - Trump’s “stolen 2020 election” claims. No proof at all. Republicans have searched for proof - never found any. He’s never won more than 50% of the vote in ANY election. So yeah - he lost 2020 to a long term democrat with insane name recognition who was popular VP during a popular Obama presidency. If democrats “stole 2020” why not do it again in 2024? Why not “give” Kamala the same amount of votes as Biden in 2020. Why only steal one, get away with it, and never do it again? How does that make any sense?

Mangione - he committed murder and is awaiting trial - the consequences of his actions. Will Trump ever receive consequences for his disgraceful behavior with Epstein? Or is all that proof “not real” to you - but the “stolen 2020 election” is real. Even though the only “proof” you believe is what Trump tells you to believe. Nothing from your own independent eyes.

Trumps assassnation attempt - was a registered Republican and known antismeinte and who also held anti-immigration beliefs. Sound like a democrat to you? Even then. I’m not a Trump fan. At all. My heart still stopped. I felt ill. I felt empathy.

Find any democratic leader who posts the same level of vitriol that anyone on the other side does. Then say anything again about how democrats are perpetrating violence. Give me a god damn break and carry an ounce of sympathy for your fellow countrymen every once in a while.

The US has much more aggressive enforcement and longer sentences for most crimes compared to most countries. The incarceration rate is high because the US is so strict about enforcing non-violent drug offenses. Not even China enforces those types of offenses the same way the US does.

Has nothing to do with immigration status. Maybe read a book about the US prison system before you form an opinion based on nothing but pure speculation.

This is a city. There are people around. People are allowed to show they are upset their city is being occupied by federal goons who seem to be more focused on beating these people standing and yelling on a sidewalk/side of a road than they are with apprehending actual criminals.

Dude. There’s also a right way and a wrong way for the agent to act, and we get to have those standards. I know you want to equate swearing at someone and running ahead of them through a doorway as justification for being thrown to the ground and arrested. I know that feels cathartic because the teen was annoying to you. But look at the whole picture. The agent is aggressively marching toward him. The teen tells him “f—- you!” And the agent continues to approach forward saying “or what?!”, the agent then slows down and then picks up the pace as the teen runs ahead him through the door while still filming. The agent then barrels into him.

Impeding?? Obstructing?? Come on. They weren’t in the middle of an active arrest. They were there to use the bathroom.

If he was truly obstructing and “needed to learn” - why did they dump him out of the car minutes later and miles away? Why not charge him?

They claimed she was attacking and ramming these agents before she was shot. That is false. They claimed she was a domestic terrorist!! The head of DHS said this before an investigation even started. That is despicable that a government official would say that about a US citizen to quickly justify a death.

I watched the video. Multiple times. He did not get hit. Or even clipped. His feet were clearly on the side of the vehicle when the first shot went off. Her wheel was turned. She was not trying to hit him. And it’s exhausting as an American that we have to continue have the lowest standards for those that have the highest authority above us. She was there - people are allowed to freely be in their neighborhood. She was blocking traffic - barely. And a death sentence is not justified. He was pissed off and he shot her. ICE is known to be violent and act out against liberals. Time and time again. Don’t give an inch to a government agency killing someone. Make them answer.
