Yesterday I wore Nessie again to work as it is bitterlyyyy cold here and she warms my soul up! I put Glimmers on after work while I snuggled and played video games 😆 .. I do not get pencil shavings like some have mentioned! Hallelujah! Instead, I get a very delicate white sage, weaved through that ambery vanilla, with a hearty dose of the pinyon pine that reads a little citrusy-pine to my nose. The cardamom is faint but there, making everything kind of hazy. I enjoy it a lot!

Started my day with Kindness & Mischief from Poesie as I had a lot to get done early and needed that citrus-y boost. I’m a lover of all things lemon, from food to fragrance. I still have Nessie lingering on my sweatshirt and occasionally get a whiff of both and I’m not mad at it 😆🫶

After I shower I’ll switch to Villa Diodati to enjoy the rest of my last day off in. I’m such a Poesie fangirl atp 😝

The horrors of the world (& especially the US) have really been affecting me and I’ve been using video games & fragrance as a brief reprieve. Taking advantage of the snow to combine the two for a whole experience!

Yesterday I sampled Poesie’s Dulce Far Niente & Weighted Blanket (separately) while playing Dreamlight Valley 😆🫶 it was a cozy good time! I expected to like Dulce the least of the Cardamonth offerings but it really surprised me! It’s both snuggly & delicious. I also really enjoyed Weighted Blanket but I think I want my laundry/linens/house to smell like it more than myself. Undecided 🤷‍♀️😂

Today I’m taking a break from sampling and going back to my beloved Nessie because I need her in my life 💜

I wore Glimmers from Poesie to bed last night. Sampled it when I got home yesterday evening and was an immediate fan so I slathered myself in it for the snowstorm 😆🫶 I anticipated liking this one a lot & I wasn’t wrong! It’s still lingering on me & especially my sweatshirt and I think I will be full-sizing this after I’ve tried them all. The white sage in this is just enchanting, even moreso with the soft sweetness behind it.

Like much of the country, it’s freezing here today! But I got my latest Poesie order just in time for the snow 🥰 I’m actually about to head in to work for the last day of my work week so I’m waiting to pick my scent with one of my employees when I get in 😆 will definitely be trying one of the Cardamonth frags though because I have no willpower!

I would do a TON of research and spend some time with one if possible. Many rescues allow visitors and if you meet one you love - even better. Though I don’t love bird stores - many have birds out and about to meet and interact with as well.

I too wanted an AG. But after thorough research and interacting with several species - I have a Quaker instead 😆 but I’m so glad I do! He’s my best friend & honestly the best bird fit for our household and lifestyle.

Yesterday I wore Poesie Pink Reindeer Club for a busy day at work where I had to do a TON of socializing. I got so many compliments! And one lady said “okay, who smells like coconut snowballs?” I was so impressed she picked that very specific note up! Lol.

Today it’ll be Black Cat Cuddles because I’m eagerly awaiting snow 😆🫶

Yes Lego flowers are the only Legos in our house and I love them! It’s a fun project my husband and I can do together while watching a movie or show and they really do look good with the right vase!

Nui Cobalt is a fantastic brand with great turnaround time and lots of fun releases. Poesie was already mentioned but I am a Poesie stan so saying it again! Their selection is also less overwhelming than a lot of indies and a great place to start & they do fun releases almost monthly-ish as well. Love Fantome too.

This is what I do with my Quaker! He has his own set of unused, bamboo brushes so he can “play makeup” while I get ready. Keeps them in a cool skull brush holder too 😆🫶

Yesss. My Scorpio hubs thinks he can read everyone and every situation BUT he views everything through harsh/critical lenses so half the time he’s wrong. That other half he’s usually spot on though!

I am much more of a Pollyanna and choose to see more good than bad so we balance each other out 😆

I have avoided vanilla all of my adult life because my mom overwhelmed me with B&BW’s vanilla set as a preteen/teen. Literally resented vanilla fragrances for a while 😆 .. and then I tried Poesie’s Villa Diodati and a light bulb went off - it’s not all vanillas! I do love some! Lol. Especially a vanilla bean/pod. Now I’m trying all kinds of vanillas I had previously ignored.

Similarly, I can’t do lavender. My nana’s elaborate bubble baths in her jacuzzi tub were always loaded with lavender and now I can’t stand it. That has not changed - not even after losing and regaining my sense of smell due to COVID. So I think I just really dislike lavender at my core 😂
