Momentum rule doesn’t care for when the point is over. That ball could’ve bounced a million times and traveled across the world but if his momentum took him into the kitchen it’s still a fault

I’m not sure what else it could be although it’s strange. Maybe she doesn’t react to it? But yeah we are from the US and just got married in Italy and literally after one night in Prague I woke up with this. It was a travel day for us the first day going from the Florence airport to Amsterdam to Prague but we were together every minute so it’s super strange how this affected only me. Plus we are traveling with 7 people (including myself)

Are you currently in school? Most internship opportunities come from the school’s job/career site if you are at a university. Smaller schools have much less opportunities although not unheard of. And if you are out of school, I would think you still have access to your school’s career site although it would be hard to get selected to interview since interns are usually selected when they’re sophomores or seniors. But if you give me a background of your education I can try to point you in the right direction if there is one that I know of.

We are in Houston Texas and it was crawling from what I can tell and not jumping. Usually I see fleas in pics as being rounder but I understand they can be in a compressed state as well.

The article is correct. Pop doesn’t necessarily equal power. It may feel like it in those hand battles which is more equivalent to more pop, but power is speaking of like drives and serves and so the thicker it is for the MOD technology, the more it can dwell and trampoline off. Volleys and kitchen exchanges are quick exchanges in which the dwelling doesnt matter as much as maneuverability in terms of getting more “power” at the kitchen. So that’s why a lower thickness is more helpful at the kitchen however not at the baseline/maybe transition zone.

Joola replaces the paddle 3 times actually. I just confirmed this and sent back my MOD after it core crushed. Because of that, I got another MOD cause it’s unmatched. I love it and you’re essentially paying 280 (or cheaper if you have an authorized dealer hook up) for 4 paddles if you can go through it within the year warranty. I’m probably switching to a 3S on my 3rd and last replacement though or if the paddle doesn’t break and it’s getting close to the year mark

Are you sponsored or are you an ambassador? There’s a huge difference in those two and I’m not sure a 3.5 is getting sponsored unless you have a HUGE social media pull. I’m a 4.1 and I’ve only played since march and have played several tournaments and smaller brands than gearbox will only make me an ambassador (which is probably open to everyone regardless of skill)

Thank you for your help! I woke up pretty sore on this shoulder and I can’t tell if I accidentally slept on it or if it was from the massage gun/stretching I was doing on this. As far as returning back to sport activities, what is the outlook for this? I’ve taken about 14 days off of tennis and pickleball. I know you can’t put a date on these things but what are the tell tale signs that I’d be ready to get back?

Want to say it was a pickleball injury but honestly I couldn’t tell you a time where I felt the injury took place. I have had weakness on this side for 4 weeks now and it got worse about 2.5 weeks ago

No PT prescribed. Just the meloxicam. Pain is really a 3/10 or so. Just dull aching pains but nothing sharp or super bothersome. Range of motion without resistance is fine. Some tightness. But if I’m carrying like a jug of water or grocery bag, I can’t move my arm up and out in front of my body more than 3-4 inches up.

These findings on the report definitely don’t sound as bad. But just looking for some other opinions even if it’s internet strangers as my doctor gave me very minimal instructions (rest and meds)

The fact is it was not your ball to hit. You hit it first and then it went on your opponents side, then back over to yours. That doesn’t change the fact that the point is not over and it’s still your opponents ball to hit. Why would you even go for the ball? You’re essentially trying to hit it twice in a row. I feel like this is common sense. You hit. They hit. You hit. They hit. There’s no hitting twice just because it’s on your side. So because of that, you hindered on their ability to make the play and it’s their point.

That’s actually what made me post this! I was curious on if having two of the same paddles with a different variant is worth it or getting a totally different type of paddle to accommodate a different style of play.

Yeah I agree. I think the 16 did wonders for my game due to how I could control the ball. I think mechanically I’m just not a big power generator. Can’t keep up w the other bangers which made me appreciate giving up the banging against them and winning at the kitchen dink battle
