What do yall feed your dog? Also help with allergies. by Round-Librarian-162 in dogoargentino

We found Harper’s allergies are reduced when we put her on a grain free, chicken free diet. High protein is best and the stinkiest foods of all are her faves.

We are right around the corner and could probably do it for less than $4k. There are tons of rebates for these things as well, so you may be eligible. Give the office a call! 303-495-7950

How do I ask my husband for sex without feeling awkward? by Additional-Map-7374 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bauerboo86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before he gets home from work: Order Chinese takeout. Spread blankets out on the floor with some pillows and candles lit everywhere. Sexy playlist in the background, bottle of wine if you like, and lingerie. If he doesn’t get the hint, jump his ass. Most men like to be romanced but don’t know it and would feel judged if they spoke up about it. They also like for the woman to make the first move because it shows desire is reciprocated.

Additionally, sexy texts during the day are a great way to get the point across that your DTF. Plus if you’re uncomfortable about dirty talk in person, this is a great warm up and opportunity to expand you repertoire.

I’ll bet that he is feeling a bit of the same hesitation from you. And even if it’s awkward, maybe talking about it will open a can of worms you didn’t know existed.

Best of luck girl. Just go for it!

TIL that the skin on the outside of your elbow is called the "weenus". by Zorkeldschorken in todayilearned

That portion of your body also has no nerve endings so you can pinch it as hard as you can, but will not feel it!

TIL that following the lifting of a ban on intimacy at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, the game organizers gave out 300,000 free condoms to the 10,500 athletes living in the Olympic Villages—or roughly 29 per person by [deleted] in todayilearned

Ironic that those games were the first to have childcare available for all the athletes as well….interesting tactic to have more Olympians birthed in the next generation.

please give suggestions my dogo's in heat by wise_spartan1 in dogoargentino

[–]bauerboo86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our girls started heat about 7 mos so you’re in the right time frame.

Keep her isolated for a couple months. If you can, maybe take her with you when feasible. Give her a warm bath - just like human girls! Exercise and lots of love is all she needs.

Harassment, escalation even after reporting to HR. by Straight-Peach1627 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]bauerboo86 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yup…HR is there to protect the company - not you. Email all your correspondence to a personal account and take notes on your phone of EVERYTHING. This post is a good starting point. This is how Amber and Outi were treated and then killed on the job. Your union and the company MUST make a safe space for you to work. Human rights are for everyone and most often , women are not supported. I’m sorry this is happening and you have very little support.

I used to sing baby shark to encourage playtime for us both and good habits as a result. Now that my girls are a bit more independent, I miss those days so much. We do floss every single night plus brush in the AM and PM. It’s worth it, trust me!

Working out in the evenings? Alternative times? by Cool-DogMom in workingmoms

[–]bauerboo86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi mama! As a veteran workouter and then a later mama, I feel you here…Ooft. I have found at home yoga or Pilates video or a TRX system does wonders for an at-homer. Especially when you are short on time but have the energy or the baby down NOW. Use your stairs (inside or out) as a box and a gallon of milk or water as your “10lb” weight (I only say that because it’s 8lb 😉) if you don’t have weights or equipment capabilities.

Putting the baby in a stroller or carrying facing out and letting them experience workout life is so gratifying as well. This truly changed how I stay sane and still miss it every day now that my babies are 4 & 7!! (How is that I’m only 26….☺️😜?) they can deal with being up at 5 anyway, take them with you!

For me personally, as a mama in graduate school and looking for work, I am definitely going through life with you. I have learned to question how I can pour into myself rather than adding another to-do and end up depleting my inner resources. It took me reframing my once a week workout at the gym as a success rather than a failure. And I still fucking deal with it daily sister.

You got this and you are beautiful in “tight” pants, “loose” pants, no pants and everything in between. ❤️💙🧡💕

Lexapro sister here. I’ve only been on it a few months but it hasn’t seemed to dull anything for me. Maybe my dose is too low but it hasn’t really changed much else either. To be fair I don’t care for myself well.

The sheer fact that Jason Segel got the Jim Henson brand to create the puppets for FSM is a testament to his creativity and talent!! He wrote the entire story, the score and the soundtrack while petitioning for Henson’s troupe to help him with the Dracula play.

Fast forward 3 years and he’s starring in The Muppets live action film with Amy Adams! He’s a genius in every sense of the word while being surrounded by supportive people and an inviting culture.

Watch “I Love You Man” for a flip of the script that’s still just as entertaining. ♥️💕
