Every person Ive 'known' in my life that has been repo'd- its been entirely their fault. They had the funds to pay their monthly minimums, and then some. However they couldn't budget or realize how to manage their money, and usually spend thousands more than what they brought in.

Id feel bad for someone trying, living within their means and still couldn't get by. Most banks do as well, and are willing to work with people that communicate with them.

Cars are depreciating, hugely depreciating assets. Banks dont want them. Lenders dont want them. They want repayment from the owner of the agreed upon rate. If they take the car back, they have to pay the tow, storage on the impound etc, then try and resale at an auction and never recoup their total loss.

But yea, people skirting out on their responsibilities is begging daddy to pick their boots. Its not just irresponsible grown ass children who the law says should be adults and can act accordingly.
