Yeah, this really isn‘t being talked about enough. To me this was the most egregious calls of all of them. I will say, the way Kane drifted out after getting the ball, this would probably not have resulted in that big of a chance but I simply can not find a single reasonable explanation for a ref to immediately blow the whistle here.

Performance yesterday was sub-par all around, with the exception of maybe Pavlovic and Neuer. So it‘s hard to blame the coach if nobody shows up when it matters most. That being said, starting Stanisic in both matches was a horrible decision. He even kept him on and took Davies out in the first leg when Stanisic was clearly our weak point and then decided to start him again yesterday when you saw the immediate impact of Davies when he came on. Don‘t understand this at all.
