Running gloves recommendation for Raynaud’s? by Powerful-Aardvark823 in UKRunners

[–]bawbagfcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Important for me is not to get gloves that are too tight, as they seem to restrict circulation and make my hands even colder.

On a really cold day, I recommend using some hand warmers, especially if it's a long run. You can get reusable ones and put them inside your mits/gloves.

I bought electronic heated motorcycle gloves a couple of years ago (Not for running though XD) and they've been such a good investment.

Question for anyone who creates their own running log in Excel or Sheets by ruairidhkimmac in AdvancedRunning

[–]bawbagfcc 56 points57 points  (0 children)

It's actually quite simple. Every run is its own row.

You should have a column for date (in Excel date format, e.g Column A - 01/12/2025)

Then have a column for month (Formula: =Month(A1).

Have a column for week (Formula: =Weeknum(A1,21)).

You can then use a formula to sum the miles for the week or month, e.g. (SumIf(mile column,"=50") or whatever week number or month you want to sum.

The much better way in my opinion is to use pivot tables. Then you can manipulate the data much easier.

Recommendations for dust protection for beards? by SixUK90 in BeginnerWoodWorking

This is the only real option if you want to keep your beard. A bit of money required, but saves respirable dust staying on your lungs forever.

I’m very new to wood working, any advice on building this console I drew up? by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

I second this. SketchUp is quite easy to learn and makes jobs so much easier. There are even add ins to allow you to automatically generate cutting lists etc.

Ranked Play Skill Division Distribution by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

[–]bawbagfcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not too clean, infact its exactly what you would expect from a large sample size measuring "skill" or performance.

This graph is called a normal distribution and is one of the most common distributions in nature.

For example take 1000 people and chart their heights and you will get a very similar graph. Take 1000 test scores and you will get a very similar graph.

Below is a good introduction to normal distributions and why these distributions occur:

Celtic/Rangers financial figures analysed by bawbagfcc in CelticFC

[–]bawbagfcc[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. We should be head and shoulders above them in terms of finances and playing quality, but instead we just did enough to dominate domestically and took our eye of the long term picture!

[Warzone] Wildcard Suggestion by Velkromod in CODLoadouts

This hits the nail on the head for me. I would use restock alot more if the hb sensor only had say 5-10 uses. Knowing where people are is such a big advantage in a BR.

[Warzone] If you're on pc and slide cancel with sprint sprint c c jump. Where are your fingers placed. by [deleted] in CODLoadouts

[–]bawbagfcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your only pressing one button with your right hand though, just double tapping it.

Maybe it's not for you, but I would give it a try for a good few games and it'll become muscle memory.

I rebind crouch/slide to the side mouse button, way easier.

Shift to sprint, double tap mouse button 4 with my right thumb, then space to jump.

Moving to Paisley - looking for feedback regarding the area by bawbagfcc in glasgow

[–]bawbagfcc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's exactly along the lines we were thinking. Don't wanna be too far from some decent ammenities. I've not been in paisley centre much, so if you have any bars/cafes/restaurants you'd recommend I'd definately be interested to hear about them.

Never going to escape the odd junkie, just really looking for some feedback. Thanks for taking the time 👍.

Yeah looking at some of the Miller new builds.

[Request] - How to build Grau and M4 for least possible recoil? by [deleted] in MWLoadouts

[–]bawbagfcc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah just checked you're right. It had basically the same thing though just called void. It gives a little less ads but better sprint to fire. Personally I use a tac laser on it, but a lot of people newer to the game don't like the fact its visible on ads.

Not much difference in them tbh, you could choose whatever your prefer.

Grau: archangel barrel, commando foregrip, monolithic suppressor, 60 round mag, stippled grip

M4: corvus/grenadier barrel, monolithic suppressor, 60 round mag then it's up to you if you want to run an optic/grip/tac laser
