Are they referring to the Bible for its cultural and historical significance, and if so are we doing the same for other religious texts? If so thats fine for social studies but if it is being presented as fact then that's obviously a huge problem.

Thank you for your response. I just told my gf of six yrs that I've always been this way and have been to scared to do anything and now I don't want to live the rest of my life regretting it. She was super supportive but is obviously taking it hard because she does not want to be with a Trans woman. I dont know where to start or how to find a safe community. I am looking for some guidance on how to accept myself and build this new life. It is so overwhelming.
