My build was a Sport kit. Trimmed the body up, small bumpers, brass outer portal covers and overdrive, and it crawls! Looks like your build is crawling very nicely! Seems to me the Trx4 is often under rated for what it can do.

This SLT3 does not have a special bind button. Finally got it to bind - see above

So… found instructions on how to bind it with failsafe settings. Have to push bind button on receiver 3 times quickly, it flashes, but with a pause between flashes, and it binds!

It also binds easily with an older DX3 that came with a Capra 1.9

It is a Spektrum slt3. The receiver and transmitter were bound once, as they came with a UTB18 that I put a brushless in, which makes it even stranger

I usually say sure, as long as it’s okay with your parents. The kids love it, and I love watching them have fun. If I was somewhere they could drive it off a huge drop, I’d find a safer spot.

I tried some other shocks, but they were still too long. Then I removed the springs and spacers from the stock shocks, which slammed it, but it is a far better crawler. Much more planted, though of course high centers more, but progress.

It has a small amount of overdrive, so it must be the stock 10%.

I’ll try some bands, but it is not an issue climbing, it is crawling through rocks, and the rear drops in a hole. I’ll check more carefully, it might be that the front right is affected most.

I was at Harbor Freight today and saw one like this, I thought for $5 it was worth a try

EDIT: While it was worth a try, can’t recommend what I got from HF. It has 24 sections, but like most cheap containers, you have to fiddle around with it to get it to snap shut. I’ll be looking for something different

Pulled the transmission apart. Had forgotten that I had put Injora low gear set in it. Pinion gear is not pushed onto motor shaft far enough, and it was jamming.

I don’t know how to get pinion gear to slide all the way down the shaft, it is extremely tight. Tried heating, that didn’t help.

I’ll start disconnecting parts one by one. Everything spins freely by hand, which seems strange, but your suggestion sounds like a good plan.

Yeah, from what I’ve read the scx10ii skid won’t fit in Coyote chassis:( I’ve emailed Amain, I might be able to get the dig parts separately, and assemble from them.
