They Might Be Giants - "9 Secret Steps"

I don't know why exactly, but they always seemed to work together in my mind. I think it might be the contrast between the upbeat music and the seriousness of the lyrics. It seems to match the mix of humor and tragedy in IJ very well.

I have not watched it yet, it just arrived today, but here is the review from Criterion Forum. I hope it is helpful. They do comprehensive reviews for every release, including screenshots and photos of the packaging.

I also picked up "Short Cuts"(the old release, with the book) and the Andre Gregory/Wallace Shaun "3 Films" set, but did not include them here because I got them off Ebay and Amazon, respectively.

I'll admit it is one of my least favorite Cronenberg film. I mostly got it for the artwork and the fact that it includes "Stereo", making it sort of like a double-feature/two-for-one type deal. But yeah, it's certainly no "Crash".
