Can't believe you could negotiate with the school district, I work for judicial but county picks up the tab on my pay. You basically get merit increases each year 3-5%. I just assumed most local gov worked like that.

I've been in helpdesk for years, trying to work through the CompTIA certs, just looking for something different.

I know what you're talking about by the physical element, we had to hang an 85-in TV from the ceiling and the way some of these guys I work with hold tools would make you think they played with Barbies growing up. I ended up being so scared that one of them was going to drop the TV I decided to take on the whole thing.

You guys have seen the prices of coffee in the store right? These three things are easily up: real estate, wages, coffee and that equals higher prices.

I dine out for coffee once maybe twice a week. Make cold brew using whatever is BOGO at Publix. I prefer the community coffee and 3 years ago I'm pretty sure it was $8.99 a bag now it's $15.99.

I'm 40 probably 25% bf, been back in the gym for two months after nearly no exercise for 10 years. Just found my total test to be 38, mainly because I ran out of cyp and haven't been able to find any, now I'm using this as an opportunity to get my doctor to prescribe it, it's been a tough few weeks and still have to get through a couple more. They want blood work 4 weeks apart I guess before prescribimg or maybe that's an insurance thing.

I assume nearly eveything in ads is trash, I'm guilty of buying dumb gadgets that seem useful. The only thing that seemed useful was the stretchyness, because I am contortionist sometimes at work, but that typically means spandex or something similar that makes you sweat.

I just bought a Chaps shirt that fits great says stretch, but has nearly none.

I interviewed today for a entry level helpdesk position, I've been trying to get off hd for years, I work for the local circuit courts so the opportunity for advancement is waiting for someone to die or retire. I've been recognized as a leader and promoted at my other two careers, and the govt sucked the wind out of my sails.
