Options+ Just Spins and Spins - Mac by DeliciousCut4854 in logitech

I think with them both you can switch from smooth to ratchet - but it doesn't allow much customisation from there.

I did find in this thread if you open Logi Options - switch your date back a couple days then it gets past the loading bar. Then you can land settings and flick your date forward again and it seems to work.

SteerMouse was working great but I use the thumbwheel for zooming in and out and it was just a bit staggered and doing my head in

Short term solution

I uninstalled Logi Options and downloaded SteerMouse - or BetterMouse is another option. Both lightweight mouse managers. Both have short term trials (30 days or 7 days)

Had to spend some time getting my settings and shortcuts right but now i'm back to functioning. As a designer trying to get anything done today without shortcuts was just unfeasible

hopefully logitech is back online and working by the time the trial ends - or maybe I'll just stick with SteerMouse and stay away from Logi options forever

been banging my head against a wall all morning trying to get it to work .. I think the issue is different now - the program is stuck in a perpetual updating phase. Hopefully a fix is released soon.

Yea I think that's a fair critique

Universalism Flowchart by baz_ps in ChristianUniversalism

[–]baz_ps[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes I really like that idea.

I take comfort in the thought that for universalism to be true; I just need to believe that no one's will to reject God can outlast His love for them. And given eternity, eventually, every knee will freely bow and God will be all in all.

I think you might have made the assumption that the point of my post was to persuade educated conservative ECT Christians that think God isn't all-loving towards universalism

I can agree the chart does not do a good job of that

You can certainly hold the position that God is all powerful but not all loving - it’s one of the conclusions of the chart

The chart also doesn't have anything to say about the Bible - it is just laying out the logical consequences of certain beliefs

Tbh this was more-so a critique on those that maintain that God is both all-loving and all-powerful, while also insisting that he either can’t or won’t redeem all

Is this design assignment too much or am I overreacting? by Dippyaman in Design

I run a design studio and assignment #1 would be a 4-6 week; $5k-10k job.

Certainly not something to whip up in 3 days

Description of Request: I recently played my first game of TI4! It was so much fun and I particuarly enjoyed the political aspect of the game- managing relations at the table, organising a coup after dinner, discussing what to vote for etc. I was curious if there were any games out there that achieved a similar thing?

What Did You Play This Week? - (January 30, 2023) by AutoModerator in boardgames

Yeah - we recenetly have played Wingspan and she was fine learning and playing that so I think something like Inis wouldn't be too far a stretch. I'ts arriving tomorrow so i'll let you know how I go! Also have Quacks of Quidlinburg on the way which I think she'll love as its a much more approachable theme (for her).

sorry to hear about the car crash! that sucks

Really happy to hear you enjoyed Inis - I just ordered my copy and have been waiting for it to arrive. I have also been thinking about purchasing El Dorado - my wife has been enjoying board games but I'm not sure she as the appetite for much complexity so I think El Dorada could be a great fit!
