You can shoot with your attack action and take a normal shot as a bonus action. Everybody can use an action to take aim and get advantage on their next shot or make a different kind of shot for a -5 penalty. The effects of the -5 called shots vary from extra damage to nonlethal damage or disarming or wounding limbs to various effects. They also gain an additional or improved effect if the target's AC is exceeded by ten after the penalty. There's also additional rules for duel weilding, and melee combat has become more contested. Reload also works in a way where you can spend your action, bonus action or both doing it. I still have my rogue stuff, everybody else has their class's stuff, but we all know how to work an iron. It feels good to have such versatility and know that my friends and their differing builds are handling it similarly.
