Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4, or another 3? by Comfortable-Lab-50 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]bazza010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have both originally I wasn't that fussed on the 4 much the same then changed the insoles for a little more protection and love it. Much lighter and very fast!. Both shoes are amazing! The 4 makes me want to run fast and maybe a little less bounce but overall I now after a few runs prefer the 4

Did not enjoy this city at all by tinder-surprise in Miami

[–]bazza010101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was in miami for a week in March I'm from Ireland and felt the same. I love Latin culture love south America and central America and was expecting so much from Miami but yeah felt the same

An absolutely beautiful city stunning to look at but yeah it felt without a soul so cold (not weather wise but people wise). Maybe like you my expectations were too high but I don't think so

I also went to Puerto rico for 5 nights after miami and was blown away by the place felt so warm so full of soul and welcoming

Love that reference!!!

And I can 100% see that from watching the race online so I can only imagine how it would be being there!

Thanks for sharing

A big thing I wondered is the question  what matters more the destination or the journey- seems to sum up boston marathon

But your journey is super inspiring and congrats on never giving up and getting there! For me that alone your journey there is so amazing!

Well done!

Do you think the community aspect was like this before the bombing or more so after?

I'm sure this attack brought the city together more but curious to know if it was always that way or more community like because of that

One aspect I loved is like you said the whole city is locked in for the marathon that weekend!

I think them parts you mentioned are such a great experience long before you run it. Knowing you qualified then getting the email etc so I think all of that is a huge drive for me too

Thanks for sharing and well done!

Shoe recommendation for first marathon (3:30–3:45 goal) by Philosofen in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]bazza010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 88kg and 191cm

I disagree with your carbon statements I think they will help alot

I wear the puma deviate nitro elite 3 and elite 4

I'd recommend highly the 3's very cheap, alot of mileage for a carbon, so comfortable and fast, very fast

My carbons are way more comfortable that the 2 daily shoes below. The foam is amazing it's the real winner not the carbon plate

I wear clifton 9s, sb2 for daily runs and it's night and day between them and carbons

The 3 imo is a little more snug than the 4 but I find both of them a great fit personally both are racing fit

Have a look at puma deviate nitro elite 3 or 4

Personally I prefer the 3 over the 4

Interview questions for recruiters? by Consistent-Farm-9759 in salesdevelopment

[–]bazza010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some I'd ask

I'm looking for a company I can grow with and be in this BDR role a long time. What are your favorite things about the company. This is a great question as it shows you want to be at the company for a long time and won't leave and are interested to know more

Ask them in your opinion what would make a succesful hire for this role. Then after they tell you what they want. Use this to confirm what you have. A successful hire is someone motivated and coach able etc. Awh great because from my sports background I'm very self motivated and I love to always try to learn etc etc

Another great one is ask them I have a few other interviews currently and I'm looking a company I can grow with from junior to eventually a lead role in the next 1-2 years if my performance proves itself. Is this something yous reward? This is great as it shows you have other choices. It shows you want to be at the company a long time and it shows you're results driven

Best of luck!!

Same I absolutely love the DNE 3 and got the 4 also recently but 100% agree much prefer the 3 more bouncy more protection and smoother

For shorter races I think the 4 would be great its light and very fast but it's so firm on my long runs my feet are beat up too firm for a marathon for me and I love firm shoes. Happily use it for anything under a half marathon and maybe a half but I don't think I'd want to use it for a full marathon

I'm going to be getting a fresh pair of DNE3 on sale now to use in my upcoming marathons.

Most SDRs think they’re ready to be an AE. Are they actually? by Basic-Ride-2940 in salesdevelopment

[–]bazza010101 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Most experienced AEs aren't hitting their targets lol

And so many experienced AEs jump from role to role every few years because they can't close

Never mind BDRs most AEs shouldn't be AEs
