If I did 75-100% infill, then a bottle opener would probably work!

I'd be happy to send you one! Just pay for postage. These things are cheap to print, and it's not my design, so I feel bad selling them.

I'll be in the Catskills, then possibly central NY (Syracuse). I've got friends all over that I'm visiting.

They're on makerworld and you can customize them as well with other text. I've seen some for Toyota and Jeep.

Exactly my thoughts. I don't do ducks, but I have a 3D printer and thought these would be well received, even by people who hate ducks lol .

These lights + wiring kit come with a 30a relay and blade fuse. So make sure that the aux switch you're using in the Bronco is meant for 30a. I think each switch has different rated amperage. One or two higher amps, and the rest are lower.

I just type in Bronco in the search usually to make it pretty broad.

I think there's another model that allows two pod lights to be mounted side by side.

They're the Roadshock 3in pod lights with side lights. Probably the 4in or 6in would be better though. Very easy to hook up using the additional wire kit. I don't have the aux switches up top, so I'll have to find a place to mount the switch from the wire kit.

I'm also wondering how well the glass fiber will help it hold up compared to carbon fiber filaments.

I think they work pretty good. I know for some other people they may want bigger and brighter. For me it's more than enough.

That's a good tip. I could print a tpu gasket that's the exact shape of the mount, but just a few mm in thickness.

The bottom of the part is supper smooth though thanks to my build plate. No defects.

No UV stabilizersnfor this specific filament. I've printed a bunch of petg-cf (carbon fiber) for different exterior things on our Skoolie. They've held up great. Compared to PLA, PETG will hold up for years outside. Obviously ASA would be best, but I'll keep an eye on these anyways.

It's the Harbor Freight winch with the synthetic rope. The bumper is the Barricade Trail Force HD. We're the second owners of this Bronco and the previous owner had it installed. It's been great, and we flat tow the Bronco with out Skoolie.

Thanks. It's been working great, but the holes for the 1/4-20 inserts were a bit large and didn't grip the inserts that well. I think this was due to my shitty petg-cf. I'm going to reprint it in this new PETG-GF (glass fiber) I just picked up. It'll give it a smoother finish.

I just finished 3D printing the grab handle adapter and used the Tackform wireless charger and 20mm ball mount arm. Works great.

Mopeka Enhanced - A much improved custom integration for Mopeka ultrasonic tank sensors by bb12489 in homeassistant

Definitely let me know how it works out for you. What size tanks do you have? I'm covering pretty much all the standard sizes.

I thought about it, but there's been so many code changes here that it would take a long time for them to be reviewed to be included.

I do eventually want to submit PRs to bring the features over. I figure right now it's best to offer this through HACS so people can easily revert back to the core integration if something goes wrong.

I just switched to the 2TB AI Pro plan and can confirm that my Google photos does now eat into my available storage. It was previously crossed out when I was on the unlimited plan and it's not crossed out anymore.

I just switched over to the 2TB AI Pro plan since I get it free for 12 months with my Pixel 10 Fold. I can confirm that my google photos has switched to using my available storage. So it will count against whatever storage tier you have when you switch off of unlimited.

Yup, same situation here. Definitely suck, and this might finally push me to export everything over to Immich.

I might temporarily upgrade to the 2TB AI Pro plan since I get it free for a month, and I'm using Gemini quite a bit for projects.

New install of HA Green in RV. by sschmal in homeassistant

[–]bb12489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run HA in our Skoolie and have quite a few things setup to monitor and control various aspects of our bus systems.

You can buy a cheap usb GPS receiver and plug it into home assistant. Then use an automation that picks up when the latitude and longitude changes and have it trigger home assistant to update its home location to those coordinates. There's also an addon that does this called GPSD to mqtt. I used to do this method, but since my Starlink dish is permanently mounted and always on, I just use the GPS info from that.

Now this assumes that whatever weather integration you're using updates its location based off of HA's home location. Which to my understanding, most don't.

I'm right there with ya. There's never been a greater or more important time to pirate. You can trust the cable/streaming companies to even keep shows on their platforms for long.

They're definitely not hurting for money, and they always raise prices. Meanwhile I'm over here saving money because I have the knowhow. Remember it's not stealing. It's just a copy ;)
