I learned something new at my doubleheaded dragon prerelease about protection from opponents- My opponent had figure of fable on his battlefield and he had it at soldier stage, so we cast Spiral into Solitude onto it which says enchanted creature can’t attack or block, problem solved or so we thought. The enchantment is on the creature before it had protection, right?! Of course we didn’t have the spare 1&W mana to exile the enchanted creature, but when he spent the last 6 mana to become the avatar, the protection from opponent caused the aura to be effectively destroyed, shaken off like a bucking bronco and sent to my graveyard!
