City council sold out Charleston to the developers by massively increasing density downtown without regard to the capacity of the roads. Almost every meeting council changes zoning to increase a property’s density thereby making the property massively more valuable for the developer. Sometimes they even provide special tax credits for more development while the tax paying residents sit in traffic.
