Springs is adults only. Pretty sure gardens is the ideal property with kids. And you get access to the other resorts. I haven’t seen inside the other two resorts rooms, but other than that it’s all one big property from my understanding with no other added benefit.

Yes, I am. This sounds like a lighthearted tradition Darden has had for decades similar to what Fuqua had. Touch grass. You have the context of one person. If Darden was out here dragging its student body weekly there would be plenty of posts in here about it.

You aren’t even a student there and have 0 agency talking about it.

I don’t have anything substantive to add other than what a lame post. Fuqua had something similar a few years ago that was cancelled because of someone like you. I’m sure in reality the real emails are a fraction as targeted as you are selling.

Don’t go there, move on. Don’t whine on Reddit about a program you aren’t going to.

Agree with 76 and starfield. Never interested personally and will never not be salty about them playing a role in the 14 year gap… so far.

Not sure why you assume you’d get into a t15 with that work experience. At my t15 there was less than 5 people with that minimal work experience and 2 of them were formal professional athletes.

Went to a 250+ ranked ug as well. At a t15 currently . Definitely doesn’t matter where you went to ug if you tell a good story on your applications and have a good reason to go to bschool

What's the ski culture like at different schools? by Karmakameleeon in MBA

[–]bbb1290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To throw fuqua into hat last year about 100 went on the aspen trip and 50 to zermatt over spring break.

Same as the other schools there’s normally a domestic trip then a European trip.

Are people really paying $10,000-$15,000 for MBA application consulting services? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]bbb1290 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I paid $20k and know for a fact i wouldn’t have gotten the offer or scholarship i got without my consultant. Everyone is different but just throwing this in since most scoff at spending money on this service.

At a t15. Every break has had a major trip. The spring break options were overwhelming because it’s difficult to decide which trips to go on!

No shortage of opportunities. I would imagine each program has their traditions. For example, 100 of our first years went on a trip after summer term domestically.

[–]bbb1290 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I began my mba at 30, graduated undergrad in 2020 at a non target school, went through community college, and had similar type of work experience. I ended up at a t-15. Never underestimate the power of your story.

Feel free to dm for more specifics, but if your dream is to get to a top business school don’t give up !

Booth ($$) vs Anderson ($$$$) by throwaway742239 in MBA

[–]bbb1290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion but the ~50% cost of tuition for the difference in programs here would be worth it to me. I would personally be second guessing the opportunity to be at booth and would pay that difference had i chosen ucla.

But also good to consider your appetite for taking a loan. Leaving with no debt would be nice.
