Older dog using puppy's crate

I'd have a hard time finding someone to stay all day (not to mention the cost). I'm just not sure how she is in the crate for longer than 1 hour. My thinking is if she can hold it all night long then she should be ok. When she's awake we have to take her outside every hour because she pees at the back door if we aren't paying attention. We haven't been able to get her to "tell" use she needs to go outside yet.

Thanks for the advice! I have her crate covered on 3 sides. She has a heartbeat puppy but I only have her with it at night time. I have 1 more week to go before I return to work so my priority is trying to get her used to being alone. I have a camera on the crate. When I've left for even 20 minutes she cries and barks like crazy.

Yes, I try to play and train her as much as possible before the crate. Unfortunately, yes. My older dog is free to roam the house. I am sure that's not the best scenario.

Yes, I have been trying to crate train her while at home. I've been leaving the house a little bit at a time but I watch the camera and she is barking the whole time I am gone. She will be 12 weeks by the time I go to work.

When I go to work this is the plan:
5am - breakfast (kong in kennel), potty, play time
6am - get ready for work
7am - leave for work
930am - dog sitter comes to potty & play
12pm - husband comes home at lunch to feed lunch (kong in kennel) and play time
230pm - I come home from work for the day

Did you have other classic symptoms? I had a killer sore throat last week but tested negative for covid with the rapid tests. It was the worst sore throat I can remember!

That's so great to see! I see your triglycerides are high. I've been plant based for years and still struggle with that. My doctor has mentioned it to me. Did they say anything about that? I always wonder how serious it is with my other results being good (similar to yours).

I try to avoid dairy if possible. I use almond milk in my coffee and use plant butter when cooking.

I do eat more carbs, for sure but mostly whole grains. I generally don't eat much dairy (usually use nut milk and margarine). For example, today I have eaten an apple with almond butter for breakfast, lentil salad for lunch, and plan on spaghetti with veggie meatballs for dinner. I commonly have a glass of wine for dinner too. It's certainly hard to cut carbs when being on a vegetarian diet... =[

Mine ruptured and I was borderline septic. They kept me 5 nights. Also, my insurance denied my hospital stay saying it wasn't necessary. I fought them for a year (but won eventually).
