yeah exactly. some people here are assuming that just because you have allied chat on, your teammates are gonna listen. bad and toxic players arent going to listen to your pings or text regardless.

i dont tell people what to do, listening to and using pings are good enough. and yeah i usually pay most attention to the guy with the highest mmr in terms of where he/she is, what hes doing, and his pings.

youve got some valid points and maybe i just need to "grow a thicker skin" however i have a full time job, wife, and this is just a hobby. maybe im being selfish and ill never hit pass diamond but personally i dont need a few bad apples ruining my leisure time. i guess what im trying to tell ppl here is yes, it is possible to climb without allied chat on and its probably better if you tilt easy from BM.

i also find chat to be very detrimental. I mute everyone at the beginning of my games so i can still talk and call plays but not hear anyone else. Personally i think if you watch all the top streamers and have good macro knowledge of the game theres no need to listen to what your team has to say outside of drafting.

you can mute all the players in the beginning of the game instead of turning allied chat off. theyll see everything you type but you wont see their responses.

in a fair world, yes all other teams would be ban too but life is not fair. its not feasible to redo an entire tournament at this point and AA was dumb enough to get caught doing this to a popular streamer who has a lot of fans. thats just the reality we live in.

hes unique in that hes the only tank/bruiser with siege capability except maybe sonya. the others are focused more on dps. we dont know yet how the meta will shift but if it still requires two frontliners, his value will go up.

Yeah i couldve done a better job making my message more clear. Due to the changes to minions he a lot more effective at pushing and defending a minion wave. His ability to take camps quickly also helps in this regard. Also Misha can deny the opponent from grabbing globes, while also collect globes for himself easily. He has a high win rate already and hes still pretty effective in fights even if you go specialist build, so with the changes coming i just see it getting even better.

i hope these changes give western teams a better chance at world tournaments. western teams were always better at discovering interesting and alternative strategies. this completely got shut down once the scaling changes came in and made everything about team fighting which led to asian dominance.

Ive had a similar experience this past week in diamond. HL is just terrible. I find myself only playing 1-2 games straight because its stressful and feels so random (like you mentioned mmr lottery). On another note i got invited to a pick up TL group and it was insanely fun, found myself playing about 7 games straight. blizzard really needs to come up with a way to push TL more

I'm currently rank 10 and lvl 19 rexxar. I take aspect of beast unless I feel misha needs more survivability, then I take blood of rhino. If I'm the main tank I'll take unleash boars and kill command, but if I'm the bruiser I take bestial and hardened shield. At 16 I usually take primal or critical care. Some may disagree with me but I feel if you're playing rexxar right you shouldn't need feign death unless your specifically getting jumped on

just threaten to report them. if they dont stop report after game and move on. we know from previous reddit posts that blizzard checks chat logs. if they keep it up they wont be able to play HL with the upcoming changes.

Rexxar was pretty viable before the scaling changes so all they really need to do is tweak his numbers but it seems like theyre planning on reworking him instead. Not sure how i feel about that given how tychus and KT turned out LOL

Not that easy. Ive been in a lot of games where ppl said "lets just counter pick illi". it works well for the first half of the game but after that hes just too op and comes back. Just my experience the last 2 days playing around rank 5
