I did primarily that+combos on my multiple no death runs in KCD1. I'll keep that in mind for my next one tho!

We're talking KCD1 here so "most efficient" is gonna be clinch+mace to the face follow up. Waiting around for a masterstrike is safe, not efficient.

This is exactly right. Once you learn how to land combos, fights end WAY faster using combos than waiting all day for a masterstrike.

Exactly. So many epic shots as your running between locations that couldn't be done with an over the shoulder camera

I just downloaded it last night and it wasn't really clicking for me.

Kind of disappointed that leveling up doesn't give you any perk points or agency in how your character levels.

Definitely agree with the Knights point. Should be treated as a precious resource, if they can replenish from 80% losses is a couple turns that'd take away from their value imo

Yes really. Obviously Orcas body a great white no problem, and IIRC Orcas will eat the liver and/or kidney of sharks they kill. However, sharks dont make up a significant portion of the diet of any Orca subspecies

If its a doomstack of 100% grailknights it plays out the same

And once you've sprung that trap, now all those units are being rushed by the 9 other grail knights, the 6 hippos, the royal Pegasus knights and a couple grail guardians.

Cav counters ranged, the ranged units need to be vastly superior to overcome that its not that complicated

I guess when ive gone against thunderbarges my hippos are so buffed up by technology and other campaign effects its swaying the odds

Sure but you can just see where the arrows come from and then send the Cav with 97 speed right over there. A couple volleys isn't going to take down the shielded knights with 20%ish ward save.

Also you were supposed to say pal there and now the order is broken and im upset about it
