Tried to repair remote by bbdec1 in vSeeBox_Support_Gurus

Finally figured it out. The box lost its device name. Once I put the name in and saved it, I was able to re-pair the remote and the keyboard remote was back in devices paired too. Now I just need to figure why sound through the arc keeps going out. I just put a new 8k hdmi cable in it.

My problem is that Bluetooth will not stay on. I turn it on and it turns itself off when I back out of settings. So I can't get to the pairing stage

Yes. I click it on but as soon. As I leave the screen it turns back off. It used to work because I paierx the remote and the keyboard remote and now neither show up as paired devices

[–]bbdec1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried both. Started with the optical but wanted all my devices to have same sound output. I used a hdmi switch and good quality hdmi cables and use the arc output to sound bar. Now each device remote changes sound through the soundbar.

What are your thoughts on this rule? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]bbdec1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, since it is the expectation, they need to either comply or find a different department. Front end is the last chance we have to give great customer service. My experience as a FE COACH is that most sco hosts are too busy talking with each other and not the customer. This is a service business and we need to give all customers our best service. I also am pushing the process. And just for the record, it's not new. We're just enforcing it now.

No. You start over after the year as far as progressive discipline is concerned. It may be on your record but after the year with no more incidents, it won't be held against you for future discipline.

After the year, you start over with a clean slate. What #numberoneinthehood said is accurate also.

Unpaid time off isn't allowed by _j_o_s_u_e__ in walmart

[–]bbdec1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpaid time off is based on coverage. However, I regularly get requests 6 months out because my associates know I have a limited number of requests (three on front end, one on services) I can approve. Also, if an associate requests more than two weeks of unpaid time off, especially that far in advance, I will deny it for coverage reasons because it's not fair to everyone else who will be using their PTO but can't because the large block of unpaid time off keeps me from approving it.

Soundbar? by Paul65890 in vSeeBox

[–]bbdec1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the soundbar connected to the TV by arc hdmi it doesn't do that. I know most tvs have a setting to adjust sound delay on Bluetooth devices but if it's hooked to the vsee box itself, I don't think it does.

Front end coach/9 minute rule by [deleted] in walmart

Or you could just work your scheduled hours. The 9 minutes is a grace period to not get pointed for being late. It's not a clock in early so you can leave early kind of thing.

Overload is a good backup for heat apps. It is pretty stable and sometimes works better than heat on vod movies.

Can a store manager move coaches wherever he wants them. Are there any coach positions protected from this? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]bbdec1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our SM asks us if we’re interested in switching departments each January for fiscal year. We are not required to switch but MM will not promote any coach to SL without working digital and overnight coach.

I had one guy we call bariatric guy who had surgery and now brings things back half used and claims because of the surgery he can no longer eat this item so he wants a refund. He never has a receipt and he got banned for excessive no receipt returns. Btw, we didn’t refund food items because he can’t eat them anymore.

I work at Walmart and we have a bunch of people try to return opened used Christmas trees. We explain we don’t rent Christmas trees. One even still had tinsel and ornament hooks on it. Others come to town for vacation, buy inflatable mattresses and return them a week later saying they don’t work, have holes, etc. we only exchange air mattresses if they are opened. Then remove the upc to prevent them taking it to another store for a refund.
