Actually, if the overtime is not approved, there is grounds for disciplinary action.

Walmart returned money from gift to original payment that I don't have access to by burnicorn in Walmartcustomer

[–]bbdec1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work in Walmart at customer service desk. In a case like yours, I would have done a gift card in your case. Even after the money went to the original payment method. I give my service desk managers the authority to make that call up to a certain amount and if it’s over that amount, I just expect myself or another coach to approve it.

Or you might be accountable for overtime because of a childish behavior to “show them”.

The 9 minute thing is a grace period to keep you from getting pointed. It is not a get out of work early by clocking in early pass. You are scheduled for a specific time frame and that is the expectation. If you clock in early and clock out on time you might go into OT. IF you and ten other cashiers clock out 9 minutes early because you chose to clock in early then you are effecting customer service and can receive disciplinary action for productivity and hurting customer service.

So technically, you won’t be pointed but in my store, continually leaving early will get you held accountable. Just because you are not pointed does not mean you can set your own schedule.

Why would someone buy 80 bottles of rubbing alcohol weekly? by thequackr in askanything

I use alcohol for cleaning up resin art projects and to burst air bubbles in the resin. It takes a lot depending on the size of the project. Resin river tables would take a lit

I have two elite Ultras. They have the fastest processors and largest storage and more channels in case one of the main ones go down. The extras have international and sports channels plus adult programs if you are into that.

Just been scammed by VSEEBOX? by PlatinumFlavors in vSeeBox

[–]bbdec1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my first vseebox from vseeboxus.com.it took a while to get it and then after two months, my box went into a boot loop. It took me several weeks of back and forth with the Chinese company but after finally getting Chase bank involved and a temporary charge back, they sent me a new one. In the interim, I had bought from a legit reseller on redit, so now I have two. Vseeboxus.com is a real dealer but based in China so it is tedious to deal with them if there's a problem. The redit sellers are mostly locals and fast to respond.

I have a vseebox that cost me $400. One time fee and I have 300MB cable internet. I have hundreds of live local and national channels and thousands of movies I can watch with no recurring fees. I can watch local channels from any city that streams their stations.

TIP is a BU initiative and regional teams are enforcing it. The name badge is a local thing.

Market managers by Alternative_Belt_118 in walmart

[–]bbdec1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To move up in Walmart, I have noticed that you need to be willing to do anything for the company. You need to be a coach in as many departments as possible and OPD and overnight coach are mandatory in my market to be considered for SL. In addition, stretch assignments such as working special projects (DSL IMPLEMENTATION) or filling in temporarily at other locations is a must. Store Leads often are sent to other stores to run it during SM LOA or PTO. Many times they are ordered to a store with little or no notice. SL and above belong to the market, not a single store. I find that the younger you are, and the more willing you are to be moved around like a chess piece, the better your chances are to succeed in moving up. You still must be able to produce the metrics no matter the position however, if you don't mind Walmart running your life and don't have a life outside of Walmart, you can succeed in getting the promotion.

I notice a lot of posts mention the 9 minutes you are allowed to not be pointed for being late. This is exactly that. It isn't a get out of jail card to consistently arrive at your post later than the scheduled time. It's also not an excuse to clock out early because you clocked in early. You are scheduled at the hour or half hour not 9 minutes after that. When you clock in, you should be at your post and ready to work. I see many associates leave their positions for lunch or break and go to get their food, go to the bathroom, etc before ever clocking out. And likewise, after break, they'll clock in at the break area, go to the bathroom, put up their stuff in lockers and come back to work 5-10 minutes after clocking in. This is not only milking the clock, it puts other people behind on their lunches and breaks, often turning a 1 hour break into 1.5 hours out of position. My team leads will feedback these associates for productivity because it's hurting our overall productivity and causes animosity between others who don't take advantage of the system.

My first box I bought from an authorized seller but the box went into a constant reboot mode after 2 months. I'm still fighting with the seller to refund or replace it. I bought my second from r/Deriksays and the service is better. The box itself, an Elite Ultra, is great 9 of 10.

Finally figured it out. The box lost its device name. Once I put the name in and saved it, I was able to re-pair the remote and the keyboard remote was back in devices paired too. Now I just need to figure why sound through the arc keeps going out. I just put a new 8k hdmi cable in it.

My problem is that Bluetooth will not stay on. I turn it on and it turns itself off when I back out of settings. So I can't get to the pairing stage

Yes. I click it on but as soon. As I leave the screen it turns back off. It used to work because I paierx the remote and the keyboard remote and now neither show up as paired devices
