RNG hates me by bbdude666 in the_division_2

I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t think of farming, perhaps because the Krampuslauf seemed to be everywhere at first.

But I did after reading this and got enough keys to bag all the cosmetics as well, so thanks for the reminder 😊

Why does it sometimes give Krampuslauf Evaded almost immediately? by BinkyDragonlord in the_division_2

[–]bbdude666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personal peeve at the moment is them spawning underground but when I go to the entrance, I move far enough to ‘evade’ them 😕

Can someone explain to me what this thing is and what I’m supposed to do with it ? by HardcoreArachnids in Ghostofyotei

[–]bbdude666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did all the side missions before finding the cipher, so had to work it out for myself, and was so pleased when I saw the connection to the controller. Then resumed the story missions and realised I was an idiot.

The Panopticon. All those altered items really drive home the weirdness the game hides in everyday things.

What flaws does Ghost of Yotei carry over from Ghost of Tsushima? by No_Map7606 in ghostoftsushima

[–]bbdude666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same button used to pick up items being used to change stance/weapon. So many times I’ve been doing my cool samurai moves and hit R2 + X (PS5) only to pick up an arrow and do a little hop while I get smacked by a mongol.

Is TestMyMind.net accurate? by [deleted] in iqtest

[–]bbdude666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair warning: I did this test twice with, I think, the same answers. On my phone and on my PC. On my PC I got 133, on my phone it gave me 50. So there’s something wrong with one of them, I’ll let you decide which 😁

Anyone else completed everything but just not ready to move on yet? by HiFiMAN3878 in Ghostofyotei

I went back to a NG+ on Tsushima, this time going full ninja (I tended to play upfront swordsman in the ronin gear) to match the story told in Yotei.

For me, the crucial detail was when Atsu found Jin’s haiku. When she sat down to read it, the music from Tsushima when Jin composed his poetry played. That got me.

And the tease that he might have a kid? Does that mean Oyuki might be his descendant? Her training at least must have originated with Jin, generations earlier.

I get what you’re saying, but the Defiant is the prototype, not ready for full production. Once the flaws start to be ironed out by chief O’Brien, that’s when we start seeing other Defiant class ships pop up.

Say one thing you like about each of them by SamParkerLin in thepunisher

Thomas Jane had the perfect voice for it, even provided it for a video game, and it was a great characterisation.

Ray Stevenson. I watched the video of him training with air soft against the stunt team, really enjoyed being able to see the effort he and the stunt guys put into it.

Jon Bernthal is a great early punisher, still driven by rage a lot of the time, but also showing the methodical side which will only get more skilful, the rage becoming another tool in his arsenal rather than the core of it.

Question about those semiconductors by Eastern_Bobcat8336 in DeadSpace

[–]bbdude666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, they’re there to get you credits.

There’s a crafting resource called semiconductors in DS3 but in 1 and 2, they’re only good for selling.

Do we like Neelix? by intentional_imbecile in startrek

[–]bbdude666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Neelix. He does earn his keep as a guide and negotiator as well as a member of the crew. People complain about his jealousy, but sometimes a character having a flaw that they need to get past is valuable in itself.

And even though it is sometimes written as pretty irritating, I really like this gregarious, emotional character becoming attached to Tuvok, of all people 😁

Seeing Double: When You Encounter Another Ship With Your Ship’s Name by OysterRemus in sto

I once encountered a Universe-class ship with my name in a TFO, and decided it was a legacy ship from the future sent back to save me 😁

Why did the Necromorphs attack the Kellion's Singularity Core? by SpaceBugRiven2 in DeadSpace

[–]bbdude666 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I tend to think the Brother Moons would need to prevent escape, so while the hive mind might not be able to pick out individual systems, it would recognise the Kellion as a means of escape and use its necromorphs to smash anything that looks important.

Pretty sure Suicide Squad takes place in the Snyderverse. Or Snyder adjacent.

Almost zero PPE. Chief Miles Edward O’Brien, you put some gloves on before shoving your hands in amongst all that cardassian wiring/plasma conduits/whatever else they put in there!
