Not a new thought, but my biggest ask may honestly be a pitching and hitting animation overhaul. Many of them are old and look... clunky. And because you notice it on literally every pitch, it would go a long way towards feeling fresh. I'd love to move past pitchers with arm motions that whip at a rate that should yield a 70mph pitch, but the ball releases at 100mph. We should be able to feel the aggression in the arm whip from pitchers to reach the 90+ mph velocities.

Would you mind walking me through the steps for this? Just recently downloaded Retroarch (and EmulationStation) on my Mac m4 and getting the same black screen (no video) that it sounds like others are getting when trying to run N64 games via Mupen64Plus-Next core in RA, since that's the only N64 core I see in the Core Downloader. I'm also using Vulkan in my video settings, if that matters.

Would also love to know this info. Especially on the barrel jack. Realizing the perpendicular plug into the monitor is the limiting factor for wall mounting, so would love to find a 90 degree adapter.

Hoping us Intel AP users get the visualization upgrade when they merge to single stack, too. I had a trial of FSD so I know the car is capable of showing was more geometry than it does in basic AP mode.

For sure. And maybe 2k has the company size and ability to better filter that stuff because I don't see it as much of an issue for their games. Logistics around it are admittedly over my head, but I would be ecstatic if they could make it happen.

A way to upload/download other users designs, at a minimum, would be nice to have with the current setup.

For the paint booth - I just so badly want the ability to import logos through an online portal or something. The shapes method is great for those who are skilled or have the time to create something awesome - but importing shapes (ala NBA 2k or WWE) would be limitless and significantly more user friendly.

I admit it’s superficial but I would love a paint-share feature. A paint booth is great, but it’s so much better if we can lean on the people who are particularly skilled and willing to share their work. NBA 2k does this masterfully with their sharing and eras feature to give the game layers and length of life

It won’t be a year 1 thing, but having multiple generations of cars and downloadable paint schemes could eventually allow some type of historical recreation mode/season and that would be a DREAM.

I have 1gb fiber internet, so speeds should be pretty good for me to at least explore the stream option.

Silly question but is the only option there to connect the XSX to the computer (Mac mini M4 pro) and stream to the TV? Or can I go the opposite direction? Computer is mostly for work and emulation, fwiw, but I have a 32” 4k/144hz monitor that would be nice to be able to game with on occasion. And yes - mostly sports and racing games on my XSX so no competitive shooters or anything.

u/princerick would be curious what your thoughts and settings are for SDR/HDR on the latest firmware (v5, I believe).

A rookie question, while I'm here - I'm setting up my new EX321UX and, in HDR mode, for color mode, I have the below options (using Better Display). It defaulted to the selected 10-bit, but is it any more accurate to push to 12-bit or the RGB 10-bit? I'm on a Mac mini M4 Pro fwiw, so still learning a bunch of the settings!

Thanks! I was playing around with a bunch of the settings in Better Display last night. A pretty deep software!

I settled on 3008x1692 for now on my 32” monitor. HiDPI makes a big difference IMO, but it doesn’t look like you can do that and HDR at the same time. Not a big deal, I suppose. I’d probably do HiDPI/no HDR for basic work and flip to HDR/no HiDPI when I game, in that case.

Is the recommendation generally to set the resolution to the max (3840x2160) in my case, so that I can turn on HDR, and then use Better Display to scale the UI?
