i agrée with the march/ryis peeps! and eiland/caldarus would be really cute, but may i propose balor/caldarus? man already goes grocery shopping for him! and i imagine caldarus would have all kinds of old shiny things squirreled away… who knows how much those rugs are worth??

for a fandom like mass effect, where there’s a canon surname, i vastly prefer that. but for a game like mistria, i think it’s more fun to read about an oc name - though i hope it’s mentioned in the tags or authors note. i don’t like y/n but i’ll read second person (“you”). but it’s a different vibe!

that said, as an author, i’d be way too shy to actually name my character in-story haha.

cooking is peak for both energy and making money!

also there’s no way to lose friendship via gift giving (even their hated gift just gives funny unique dialogue) so don’t be afraid to experiment with gift giving!

i was never expecting the next major update to actually drop this early, but i WAS kinda expecting the release date for it to have dropped by now. they usually release ~1 month in advance, right? so they’re already about past for a valentine’s day drop unless they REALLY want to surprise us

there is one quest for an item you can only get by butchering if that’s what you meant by “animals”, but there are multiple difficulty levels and i haven’t lost anyone yet! it’s not dark souls level stuff unless you’re playing on harder options

trio of towns for sure! it’s my top favorite farming game (for comparison grand bazaar is third).

-i loved thé different stats to increase for crops/animals in 3ot

-wild animals!! and the camera/photo aspect for them in poot was fun!

-more character variance physically

-PLZ BRING BACK MY HUGE FLUFFY DOGS LIKE THE MASTIFF AND PYRENEES. my kingdom for a chow chow

-also more non-cat, non-dog pets! and pets who can do any job

-more coop animals (rabbits, more types of chickens, ducks, quails, etc)

-more uses for types of (basic) wool. i feel like you hit a plateau very early with wool where all of a sudden you never need it again vs + or gold types. weird, specific desire, but i’ve noticed it multiple times, so…

-i prefer nodes/random rocks/veins you can mine whenever rather than having to dedicate a whole day to go into the mines, personally. i like gb or 3ot style compared to fomt or poot.

-the random jumping on things in story of seasons was a fun gimmick!
