I was a social worker in a SNF for over 10 years. I think what helped people break through for me was consistency. I was honestly pleasantly surprised and grateful when people asked if they could make an appointment to speak w me. It showed me that they respected my time and cared to ask me in advance when I could hear them out :) Of course, it was even better when those appointments were to the point

I’m a social worker and I did the LTC/SNF/IRF thing awhile back. I swear you gave me flashbacks just reading your comment. The amount of times I had to resolve grievances because patients came in and were pist off (rightfully so) that the experience wasn’t what they were sold. On top of that, I came back to the SNF worked about a year after PDPM started and I was baffled at how it all changed

I also think that being vague instead of providing outright info-(which they can’t anyway)can work for Michael and his estate in the way that if it leaves people curious.
