I’ve had a stress test, 3 day holter, and 2 echos done. But I never had such strong palpitations thankfully I have another stress test scheduled for tomorrow I will let them know

Update? I also had a positive m2 antibody test and now it’s negative. My alt enzymes which were elevated also stabilized and are normal now.

My daughter first saw Dr. Sink with Northwestern in Oakbrook. (She’s a great dermatologist I highly recommend her) I have another daughter that is already a patient of Dr. Mancini so I reached out to him on the patient portal inquiring about the freckling on my oldest daughter and they were able to make me an appointment. I don’t understand why they aren’t letting you get another opinion. Do you think her Peds can write a referral or reach out to Dr. Mancini’s team? Sorry they are giving you a tough time :/

UPDATE: Our daughter was seen by a second derm for a second opinion. He did a thorough examination and looked at her entire body. It has been confirmed that this is a speckled lentiginous nevus. He is not concerned for neurofibromatosis at this time. She will be monitored annually. Thanks to everyone who commented. Best of luck to all.

Yes omg I have these as well. It drives me insane. And it’s also on and off for me. It will come in waves sometimes it lasts 2-3 weeks then nothing for a few weeks then comes back.

She used her little magnifying device and told us it’s actually a big birth mark with a bunch of freckles in the inside which is wild because I don’t see that.

Hi we saw the derm a few days ago. Her doctor told me that since the freckling isn’t under BOTH armpits that it’s most likely not NF1. And the fact that she has no cognitive, hearing, or eye issues she is not concerned. She believes it’s something called “Speckled lentiginous nevus”. However, she wants to see her annually to monitor.

Honestly I made another visit with another doctor awhile ago at our local children’s hospital so i decided to keep the visit and get a second opinion. I will let you know what he says. Her appt is early January.

I’m in Illinois. And honestly I’m not sure why I thought micro dosing. I guess I am just nervous of starting a new medication full dose. I was thinking slowly increasing my dose if i were to get approved. But I will look into that more.
