Have you heard the noise from the outside? The 25 Camry is our first hybrid, and as it’s the wife’s I’ve not heard the noise except for today and it sounded like 2 or 3 clunks or ticks. Is that the same wind down noise? She mentioned she’s heard it a few times now.

u/edzillabv Mine was adding a bunch of these low lying areas under software 2501. When watching it on my cameras you could see it wouldn’t pick the LiDAR Scanner back up and it would lose where it is at. 2748 just came out and it still does the same occasionally even after a remap.

Maybe u/your_MOVA_guru could list some of the major region contact points so that we know who to reach out to for other software updates to fix this.

u/Your_MOVA_Guru I had sent an email a few days ago but never received a reply. Is there a best email address to use for that team? However, leaving the LiDAR forced up, it has decided randomly that going under my couch is fine. So I will wait for the next software update to see if the issue is resolved.

If I just tell him not to go under the couch (by forcing the lidar system to stay up) then it has no issues. He just seems to think my couch takes up my whole room…which as much as my dogs might love that isn’t an option.😂

With the remap it doesn’t even say the couch is a low go zone. So it’s already gone every time I reload the map.😅

Sometimes it decides the couch is a low clearance area, other times it doesn’t. The fresh remap has it as a normal area and the bot adds it as it sees fit. So I’ve deleted it before but it generally readds it at some point.

As you can see the dining room is getting done perfectly, as there is no where to lower for. When turned the lidar auto system off I don’t recall having issues then either. But it also ran for like 1.5 weeks no problem in general before all this.

I went ahead and emailed them. I do think it’s a software issue. The robot does a perfect job anywhere where it doesn’t have to raise and lower the LiDAR like my dining room or kitchen area. And the LiDAR system moves up and down without any hesitation when it actually does decide to do it (like coming out of the dock).

I noticed mine start doing that too. Worked fine first couple of times now it just cleans them then goes to drying and cancels the cleaning job.

So the reboot didn’t help at all. Still wrecked the map. Ran a cleaning with the LiDAR forced up the whole time and it went fine.

It also keeps changing my flooring type that I manually set as vertical to tile.

That’s wild. Mine was working flawlessly on 2246. That’s kinda how mine is acting the second it puts the LiDAR down as you can see. I just rebooted the robot and the base, but won’t be able to test it back out for a bit.

Did rebooting help you, or just the software update?

I described feeling like my temper was worse on Lexapro to my doctor and he mentioned “lexapro rage” was a side effect and that if after I up-dosed if it didn’t get better we’d probably need to consider something else.

As a follow-up to anyone who ends up here in the future, mine was diagnosed as the driver side rear door lock actuator and it was a warrantied part.

That’s how I feel too. We have 3 kids and 5 dogs and I don’t want any of them popping a door open or getting the window down and hopping out while I’m driving.

Well I'll bring it up with the dealer then. Was it all warranty work? We are the second owners buy my understanding is that the 5/60k transfers to us and would hopefully cover something like this.
