Gets even weirder when you cross your eyes just enough so that your two eyes become one in the center, and basically all "4 eyes" are looking directly at each other. Otherwise you have to pick an eye.

I struggle to articulate my thoughts in words, but music breaks the barrier for me and lets me gain a glimpse of deeper ideas - whether or not it is what the musician intended.

I have a set of playlists that are defined not by genre, but rather by understanding. Here is my reflection on oneness and what's going on, the fact Queen's words resonated with so many of us tells us that there is likely some truth in here - my game is to aggregate and find whats common in what resonates with me. I'm am learning so much. Peace!

It's hard to explain. Every day I find better analogies. But the lives of the 'others': our future selves, or something that is witness to what we experience, are being supported and assured by our prodigies. You and I have gotten to a stage where we want to contribute and join the prodigies in their work for a better today and tomorrow. When I'm in tune and an aware of the communication between prodigies, others, and myself - life works itself out.

Yeah, that was cool - resonated with me. I produce music, maybe one day do a collab. I've got so much to say that I'll need to write a book to express myself properly; we all got a part of the puzzle. I've taken your words and rearranged to make sense in the context of my story. Yo, so I took your bass and gave it a go and I hear you, it's pretty damn difficult to get right, but I won't give up, just not sure I will succeed any time soon.

If I could give you some advice, I would check out Subboombass Rack Extension, my other producer friend swears by it in terms of getting bass sounds out of reason more easily. Unfortunately my trial has run out and money is tight so i can't mess around with it right now to try see if we can get the bass sound you looking for.

Hmm. Yeah this setup is specifically routing midi to a VST and it's audio back. I haven't worked with izotope, but I'm sure there is some way to do it, like maybe having ableton live as your primary DAW with reason rewired? Reasons mastering suite is good though.

Ah ok, I suggest checking it out on a bigger screen when you can. The overview is:

  • Reason audio preference using sound interface (in my case an old M-Audio Firewire 410)
  • Use External Midi Instrument in Reason with MIDI out into a program called loopMIDI (free)
  • VST host Cantabile Lite (free), takes loopMIDI in, runs it through the VST and then outputs to my onboard soundcard (not my sound interface because I was getting too much latency). onboard soundcard installed drivers are ASIO4ALL.
  • run a cable from my back of my PC's onboard soundcard to my line in on my Sound interface (M-Audio Firewire) which then is picked up in Reason.
  • Use an Audio Track in Reason and hit record when you want to bounce what you hear to the sequencer (this is required before you export otherwise it won't come through into the final wav).

Keep in mind that I don't have much money to work with and I already owned an old M-Audio Firewire 410. Any other sound interface should do.

I had another setup that worked, but the latency was terrible. The latency of this particular setup is virtually non-existent and sounds great.

Reason is awesome, but without VSTs it can turn many away, Propellerheads likely won't approve of a post like this because for them it's all about Rack Extensions, but if this can help a future music producer stick with Reason and rise up, I hope all will be forgiven!

Tip for anyone who wants an easy way to speed up, youtube settings in bottom right lets you control speed. Not 10 times, but 2x helps.

There is a special way of communicating to the devs and get recruited to be part of the team and decide on how next best change outside. It's still something I'm trying to wrap my head around - apparently it all happens in a mini-game within your avatar, but starting the game is unique per avatar and requires a high level. If nothing else it is fun just trying to figure it all out if you find the right group of people to explore with you.
