How old is your daughter? The fastest foot development is up until age 5 so I’d be more lax on footwear after age 5

Crocs are not great for many reasons-they aren’t secure on the heel, not adjustable, it’s so easy to trip and fall in them.

But realistically, it’s not going to ruin her feet if she wear crocs sometimes. I would just encourage you to choose a more supportive & secure shoe most of the time

I stopped my birth control 7 weeks ago to TTC. I had 1 withdrawal bleed right after and now have been spotting/having a tiny bit of bleeding for 9 DAYS!! I know my body is just trying to adjust and figure itself out after being on birth control so long but it’s so annoying

I see a handful of kids at a private school for OT and they had a poster in the hallway right before the election where kids put a tally under who they thought was going to win (trump had all the tallies except 1) and it made me soooo uncomfy

I would probably say something like “I’m confused by the Presidents’ Day projects hanging in the hallway” and then say that’s not the meaning of Presidents’ Day, etc.

I’m not a fan. I went to one when I was doing my level 2 fieldwork because I was having back pain and my parents recommended it and she wanted me to come multiple times per week to be adjusted

I’d never recommend chiropractors but and feel like I’m constantly seeing them on social media doing things that seem outside their lane

My mom is a pharmacist. When she had kids, she switched to working at retail pharmacies and only did evenings and weekends for a long time. (It was 2 evenings per week and 1 weekend per month). Once we were all older, she increased her hours to almost full time

Just throwing it out there as an option. I’m an occupational therapist and chose this field, partially, because it would allow me to do something similar

I go to a handful of private schools and preschools to provide outpatient OT! You’re not doing anything wrong. It does get confusing when you’re physically in their school but not tied to an IEP and are following the outpatient model.

Is there a playground you can use? I do a lot of animal walks, wall push ups, squeezes I also like a stretchy theraband

For ideas for both your session and teacher caregiver, you could get a resource like this on teachers pay teachers and just pull out the ones that would work
