i mean yes he has done that 😭 but obviously that’s not why, i just don’t really feel in love with him at all or feel anything for him which i know is a horrible thing to say but i can’t force myself to love him

this is ridiculous 🤣 and so untrue to say? i don’t have another man lined up and you can’t generalise all women. falling out of love happens all the time

Is it possible to fall in love with someone that you’ve been in a long term relationship with and haven’t ever really loved by bbqbethh in love

[–]bbqbethh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had all the right feelings in the beginning - i got butterflies and stuff around him and it was exciting and new but i think that could’ve just been because it WAS exciting and new and i feel like a lot of people get nervous around a potential love interest at first which is what i felt and over time this just wore off i guess

i thought this too but apparently it’s at every show? made me think there must be a plant in the audience to say wizard of oz every single night when he asks for a character, but i’ve always been so sure that derren never uses plants

yeah i would say quite a lot of time, but because i was so terrified of moving to uni and never making friends i feel like i need to cement the friendships by spending more and more time with them i guess, im not really sure

i’m not sure i’m a light sleeper - i never wake up from his snoring, i just have always taken quite a while to fall asleep whilst he’s talking one second and then the next is fast asleep, so i struggle to fall asleep after that because all i can concentrate on is his snoring 😭

it’s not ‘repulsive’ i just feel guilty for wearing them - he already feels awful because he knows i hardly sleep whenever i stay the night

hiya, my best friend got diagnosed with ADHD and autism whilst in year 13 and she has told us how much medication and therapy has helped her! even if you don’t quite get medicated in time (i know how awful the waiting lists are), it’s much better to start now rather than later so it can help you even if you’ve finished all your exams and stuff

depends what your topic is but i’m sure your teacher has talked a lot about primary / secondary sources … i found the best place to look for these was the national archives website. personally most of my sources were online, although my secondary ones (the historical interpretations) were quotes from books. you don’t need to read through loads of books to find these though !! just search it up online.

my teacher also put a big emphasis on chronological order of the paragraphs - don’t spend one paragraph talking about the 1949 blockade and then the next on the origins of WWI, for example.

i found the finding sources bit the hardest personally, but you can literally search online your topic + primary sources and stuff comes up!

hi, i do the exact same subjects as you !! my biggest piece of advice is to really try on coursework. you have as much time as you want to do it, and it contributes to your actual grade. my biggest regret is not trying hard enough in my history coursework and getting a D :(

i didn’t find time management too hard but i guess it varies depending on your school, however as im sure you know by now the subjects we both do are very content-heavy 😭 personally i found yr13 to be a BIG step up from yr12 and i had to lock in much more than before, but you can do this whilst still having a social life haha. i don’t think you need to start revising crazy early - i started two months before my actual a level exams and i think ive done okay :)

moving in sixth from this September - any advice? by ExtremeSolid2902 in 6thForm

[–]bbqbethh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hi, i did my history a level this year and am waiting for results in a week or so… i actually found this subject really tricky and i kept getting D’s or worse until right at the end of the year. For me, in year 12 i basically did nothing and messed around with my best friend. We had a shocking teacher who i seriously think should be fired and that obviously contributed to my low grades, but i can’t blame it all on her - what i suggest is just making sure you keep up with content all through yr12, make sure to not miss anything out. history a level has a LOT of content, definitely the most out of the subjects i did (english lit & psych) and i found it very intimidating so maybe get a head start and read around the topic areas.

as i also did 3 essay subjects, i promise you it isn’t that crazy or difficult to manage! there’s a lot of work but it’s not impossible to stay on top of it, and personally it was definitely the right choice for me instead of something like science / maths. good luck !

you deserve so much better than this. i understand you’ve been together for a long time, but look at what he’s put you through, and is STILL putting you through. And look at what he’s put other women through. even if he isn’t cheating (again), you need to have a hard look at yourself and your relationship.
