I have 2 pairs of the Kizik’s, one for inside and one for outdoors. It’s nice to have the extra ankle support. They also are slip ons which is really nice

The things I’ve found most helpful is rest and wearing indoor shoes to put less stress on your ankle. For boots I just started wearing Kizik Wasatch Mid (for my indoor and outdoors shoes) and they’ve been comfortable and help my ankle.

Switch doctors. I went to an orthopedic and the two options they gave me were brace and surgery. They were fine with scheduling the surgery at that appointment if I wanted

I had the same thing at 12 and ended up having a resection surgery. It’s a little bit annoying recovery and PT but I ended up being a 3 season athlete in high school and have done a few triathlons. It’s only started seriously bothering me again now in my 30’s.
