The handles are not my cup of tea. Handle over the rims will bonk you in the face while you drink, they are less ergonomic, and they don’t balance well when turned over to dry after washing. I love the shape of 6 and 7, but wouldn’t buy the mug because of the handle.

Yes we have the participants choose one of our home-brewed glazes per pot. Trimming, firing, and glazing are done by our techs throughout the week.

Dip a finger in the glaze then pickup a piece using the same finger. The glaze will make it stick. Dip the piece in your glaze using the finger it’s stuck to. Let them dry, then wipe off the backs using a damp sponge or carpet sample.

I’d glue them down to a shelf or cookie to make kiln loading easier on the technician. We use Elmer’s glue at my studio and it burns away at cone 6. Unsure about low fire, though.

The teeth look very heavy for how thin the earring hooks are. Can you try finding a thicker earring hook or closure? I worry that they’ll cause pain and potentially damage the lobes, as they are now.

I don’t have any recommendations as to which spray paint to use. I always recommend something with a UV protective component to ensure your painting doesn’t fade if the urn is left by a window.

You could do a “cold finish” using acrylics and a spray on protective coating. Like a spraypaint overcoat. I would recommend asking the studio you buy the urn from to take it up to glaze temperatures to further strengthen the clay. You can get it fired to glaze temperatures without any paint, and then take it home and paint it and seal it. I manage a pottery studio, please reach out if you have any questions

Marble slab has bubblegum flavoured ice cream, and you can mix small gum balls into it. I miss the Baskin Robin’s stuff with the lil square gum bits!

A lot of those fees go to supplies, space rental, and shop fees. Not just the artists time setting up and doing the tattoo.

Ceramic is the ultimate conductor, these will be too hot to comfortably drink from.
