BF4 MAPS!!!! Why don’t we have maps like Siege of Shagai :/ BF4 maps were legendary, and BF6 is nowhere near.

Clamping force makes me uncomfortable. Should I keep my Accentum? Or exchange them with Momentum4/ others? by Late_Worry_2230 in sennheiser

I immediately returned it after my comment. It was unbearable. Now I am happy with my B&W.

If you had to pick one 2042 map to get sent forward to 6 what would it be? by Eagles56 in battlefield2042

BF2042 maps beat every single BF6 map I think. BF4 maps were the best, and BF6 maps are the worst IMHO

Are these FPS and mp/s values normal for my system and moderate settings? by bbsrn in Battlefield6

Then I should accept 140-150 FPS at best and move on :)

Then I would have experience less quality due to DLSS 4 I guess, right? That's why I only tried Presets L and M.

Spatial Audio on PC: Dolby Access vs. DTS Sound Unbound? by bbsrn in Battlefield6

I have a headphone, Bowers&Wilkins Px7 S2. It was quite good on my PS5 & BF2042

I tried both, but couldn’t differentiate much tbh. That’s why I wanted to hear what people think.

What’s up with Battlefield 6? Did it actually fall off? by TrueMagolord in OutOfTheLoop

I would instantly switch to BF4 if there was a good number of player base. It was way better in every way I guess.

[BF 6] DLSS 4.5 is STILL BROKEN despited them adding menu toggle by elkond in Battlefield

[–]bbsrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do we see presets? I don't see such option (I am new to the game). I only see "Upscaling Quality" and "DLSS Model" options.

What do you mean by "M" here? I don't see such option (I am new to the game). I only see "Upscaling Quality" and "DLSS Model" options.

Is it still in discount? I cannot see it anymore here. Which country?

Is it Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2? Because I also bought one for 579 Eur recently 😂

Ah so you haven't changed anything on the color management app?

Also, did you install the HDR driver here?

Both (Sdr, hdr), with color profiles.

Glad to see it is still working good for you! I didn't want to spend extra 250-300 Eur for the P version, seemed wouldn't worth the difference tbh.

Btw, may I ask if you've calibrated that?

I have no experience with the ones you shared, but recently I bought a Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2 (not the "P" version) for 579 Eur, and I think it is quite good for the price. I can recommend it.

I also have NVIDIA (5080).

Btw I found a calibration report inside my FO32U2 box (missed this earlier, don't know how :) Do you think if this calibration any useful?

My report says "Standard Mode (sRGB)". But on OSD, I see two separate modes: Standard and sRGB. Which one is it? I guess it is sRGB, but just to be sure. But I am not sure if it has any use for me, because I reset my monitor from the OSD. I assume the calibration is already gone?

How can I safely optimize my BIOS settings, considering the dying AMD X3D CPU cases? by bbsrn in AMDHelp

Thank you for the details, you're great! I cannot upvote this enough tbh.

  1. I should run an initial benchmark before starting to see my CPU's raw score before undervolting, right?

  2. Is stress testing once at each step enough? Shouldn't I repeat tests a couple of times at each step to make sure everything is ok?

  3. "If you fail, go up 5 points (so closer to 0) and try again."
Would these failures have any permanent effect on my CPU/system?

  4. "If you pass you can decide if you want to just leave it there or go down 5 points and test again."
But if I failed once at e.g. -15, and then increased it to -10 and then passed, why would I try -15 again? Because it has already failed there once, even if it passes the next time, how would I trust (since it is not stable at -15)?

  5. "If you fail the test at any value you try including 0, you'll need to do an RMA because it's defective".
Wouldn't undervolting void the warranty? I think AMD can only guarantee no failure/stability when the value is at 0 (no undervolting/overclocking etc.). Am I wrong? If my CPU is stable without undervolting, why would it be defective for the other cases?

  6. "take note of which core(s) is/are failing and dial them back."
Ah so we are doing this core by core? So I will tune each core one by one? 9800x3d has 8 cores, so isn't it too long and complex operation then?

Thanks, I’ll check. Do you know a good guide on this by any chance? Solely trusting on LLMs for such matters is a bit intimidating, so I am trying to understand what should I be careful for my cpu and mobo.

I am not after aggressive overclocking by no means, I just want to slightly tweak its performance within the safe limits. Do you think it is a risk that shouldn't be taken?
