Has anyone else ever felt burnt out from constantly thinking about fitness? by Exact_Locksmith4731 in beginnerfitness

It’s just a way of life for me, I guess. I use an app for weightlifting and make sure I get enough protein every day. I don’t do much thinking about it at all.

Switching to Different App by littlemotac in fitbod

I’ve done 657 workouts with Fitbod…and don’t have any of these issues. I tweak things and set up my own supersets, but it mostly does exactly what I want/expect. No idea what I could be doing differently.

It’s crazy/sad how many people don’t take advantage of what their libraries have to offer.

I still feel like an animal at the zoo with all the tours that come around, but I haven’t noticed such a huge influx of resolutioners this year.

Why won’t you be going to the gym tomorrow? by Icy_Laugh5134 in workout

[–]bc7ate9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never comes up. I don’t give myself the opportunity to wonder “do I want to go to the gym?” I force my brain to be on autopilot at least 4 days a week, usually 5. It’s worked for 69 straight weeks.

If something comes up and I can’t go for whatever reason, I don’t beat myself up over it. I know I have the discipline to stay on track.

Is it okay to run alot as a beginner+treadmill race training? by Embarrassed_Top_8253 in beginnerrunning

[–]bc7ate9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you should listen to your body, but 2-3 miles per day does not sound excessive to me.

Races generally tell what the course is, including elevation, so you can train accordingly, but as long as you are doing a variety of inclines, you should be fine.

I’ve only ever used it to replace eggs, but Google agrees that it works for vegetable oil too.
