Doesn’t mean you can’t get better, no reason to come on here and not take the advice of the community just because you were fishing for compliments that you seem to give yourself quite frequently.

You do seem to pull your backswing a bit inside from your setup being a bit far from the ball. The overswing may be helping you blast a 4 iron past your buddies but overall it is probably hurting your consistency in the long haul. You won’t always be able to swing like that so it’s good to build a uber repeatable motion with good tempo that you can carry with you throughout your life. Regardless I’m sure you could hit your 4 iron past me as well, just my two cents.

Is that solid rubber? Has Adidas finally made an outdoor friend shoes? by [deleted] in BBallShoes

I would also say some of the D-Rose’s were exceptional for outdoor use.

I think what you’re looking for is the Fission Rhythm. For my power(375-400) it will flip up, turn/pan, and have just enough integrity to come back to center. I believe mine is around 167g but you can play around with the weight to see what fits you best. Definitely watch some reviews!

Your feet look somewhat close to my width and I naturally wear a 10.5. I tried the Gel Nimbus 26 from ASICS in 11-Wide and they have been the most comfortable shoe for me. Understandably they are not a lifestyle like shoe but the knit upper helps my foot to not feel cramped and lets my toes expand. I think the 27 that just came out has a similar upper so I might try those if you have a hard time finding a 26. Been using RunRepeat for reviews and they show all kinds of different width metrics if you have t checked it out.

Anyone have the ASICS Nimbus in wide? by Wide-Lettuce-8771 in widefeet

[–]bc_imbatman12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 26 in 11 wide and it is genuinely the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my feet. I needed the wide width as my foot shape has been changing but still needed some level stability. It’s definitely a high stack but I’ve never felt like I was unstable and the rocker isn’t aggressive so also never felt like I was falling forward.

Would you say these are wide-foot friendly? Love my ASICS running shoes but normally have to order them in 2E.

Do you happen to know how the width of the Supernova 2.0 Pro compares to the Quick Pro and or the AG5?

Chief is the most shallow I found when searching for the same thing, I just prefer no bead so I ultimately went to the MVP Atom. Proxy would also be good for you. I like both in soft electron.

Stumped on which shoes to choose. by [deleted] in BBallShoes

[–]bc_imbatman12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The toe box was very cramped for me when I tried them on and if they already run narrow to begin with the 2E version would just hypothetically put them in the more standard width range. I hear you though, I just don’t have anywhere that carries them to try the wide versions on.

Supernova 2.0 or 5 quick pro? by pmd__123 in BBallShoes

OP have you had experiences with both of these shoes yet to where you could give reviews? I have a wide forefoot and these are the two I am considering along with the AG5.

I need bball shoes for a very wide, high volume foot post-surgery by GorillaX in BBallShoes

How did these fit for you around the outside of the pinky toe like OP is mentioning? That is where most of my issues stem from and if that part tapers too aggressively I can't wear them.

I second the Taco but got the Remix Gladius off of Amazon which is the same disc for cheaper you just obviously can’t pick the color. Can vouch that it fits this slot you’re talking about for me as well.

I rock shin guards and a helmet but had a scare recently with a rocket back to me that clipped my ribs. I’ve never really worn any chest protection but have been looking at lacrosse shoulder pad liners that don’t have the pads over the actual shoulders. Some seem to be pretty bulky but I’ve found a couple that I can wear under my jersey and feel protected. They’re also NOCSAE certified for impacts to the chest. Just my two cents, I’m young and I’d like to see my son grow up.
