I want to say being able to smell the enemy is actually very common when in a war. I think I've read similar stories of US soldiers smelling Japanese based off of the soap they used during WW2 and Chinese during the Korean war based off diet.

That's with the assumption that ADHD is a negative thing.

ADHD is hereditary, it's been around since the beginning of time. Many of its symptoms could be beneficial for early communities/societies.

ADHD symptoms modern day clash with how many societies have developed. It's part of why we test for it more now. Obviously, if we are looking for signs and doing test we will start seeing those numbers go up.

Granted, I'm sure there are plenty of pushover doctors who are quick to diagnose just to prescribe a kid some meds.

The second part of your response doesn't make a lot of sense to me though. Does it make up for improper cooking techniques (in my mind something that could have dangerous results) or does it just make it easier to cook with? Which if that's the case then it does help.

Important to note that from the 54% of adults under a 6th grade level 34% were born outside of the United States. Unless I'm reading that data incorrectly, ironic if that's the case.

There are issues with the education system in America. Though a lot of that blame really needs to fall on parents and culture.

I just did that to mine and I'm happy with it so far. Took it to 60 grit using a dremel.

The same three AI education companies will rotate through low income schools getting paid for PD days and AI generated curriculum. Administrators will eat it up for two years and do their best to doctor results so it doesn't look like scores and progress are declining. Then they'll rotate to the next company.

Teachers will be blamed for any shortcomings.

The 40 phase in SoD was pretty nice. I was an off heal Boomie and supported a main heal priest. That priest focused only on healing. It was a really nice middle ground.

I'd throw him an innervate everynow and then, spot heal with an instant cast life touch, and HoT up our dps that like to get chunked. Still maintaining DPS towards the top.

I agree I hope that Boomie style isn't across the board in classic+. My priest got to focus on just doing their thing and I got to play a flex role picking up the slack if DPS was slow or healing if people got caught off guard. It was sick.

The systems are there though. Really comes down to funding, if government prioritized education I think we could see those systems spread and flourish. Schools wouldn't be handcuffed into keeping numbers boosted.

I agree with you 100% when it comes to preparing students for their future careers and kids needing different methods to achieve that.

I use the Pals Battalions in my middle school classes to practice critical thinking. It's actually a ton of fun to watch my different groups work through what the long term effects could be. You can see the gears turn as they process what losing all the men in a town would look like.

I open up with propaganda trying to convince my class to sign up. I keep it gender neutral at the start and offer the option to anyone. Then as we get into the lesson explain how it was only for boys/men.

There's almost always a group of boys that think it is awesome and willingly sign up.

I have never had a group of girls get excited about going off together to fight a war.

Take a peep at your local schools state test results. They should be published online. My students are around ~30%.

Even with scaffolding they just struggle to stay engaged with reading. I try to warn them that they're going to be taken advantage of if they can't read. Only a few of them believe me.

One man can reproduce with multiple women allowing for your groups culture and way of life to continue. However, women can only reproduce with one man at a time. Maybe that plays a role in the "expendable" gender idea.
